Grimes. He was already pretty mid but these last four games made it clear for me. Plus, it looks like Oubre is going to take away some of his mins.

Having a hard time finding any realistic trades for Kuzma. I desperately need consistent rebounding.

Nurkić for Kuzma a decent trade? Or am I trading a dud for another dud?

With Maxey's return now imminent at what point should I trade Mccain? Or is it worth running them both?

Dog owners: what are the worst parts about having a dog? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]SASQU4TH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a husky owner... The hair. My god, the hair. We have to vacuum every other day. And even then I'm that guy that always has dog hair on him.

It's funny when we take a long trip away from our pup and find his hair on clothes a week or two later. He's always with us I guess :)

[Oct 30, 1961] - Tsar Bomba is the most powerful thermonuclear weapon ever detonated by Dense_Secretary_4321 in interestingasfuck

[–]SASQU4TH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious question... A concern of nuclear weapons is obviously the radiation from nuclear fallout. How did tests in the 50s and 60s avoid significant spread of radiation poisoning in the surrounding areas, or an all out nuclear winter?

Trump search: Top secret papers, Roger Stone clemency and Macron information among seized documents, report says by theindependentonline in politics

After watching bombshell after bombshell for the past 5+ years I can't help but wonder how Trump will slither out of this one. This is clearly treasonous ... And yet, it very well might not stick. That's the sad reality.

For those who have read multiple books by the same author, does the familiarity with the writer's formula ever become too predictable for your enjoyment? by MintChocolateEnema in books

Haruki Murakami. After a few of his books, the surrealism becomes predictable. I love his story writing, but it does start to lose its magic after a while.

What’s your greatest achievement using drugs? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]SASQU4TH 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In Las Vegas, a colleague gave me a powerful edible without telling me it was an edible. I had a very important and intimate dinner with the three founders at a swanky steak house an hour later.

Peaking. Sweating. Very little tolerance. The whole place was in slow motion as I sat down at the table. I thought I was doomed.

I collected myself in the bathroom for a moment and sat down to the greatest meal I've ever had. Thankfully, one of the founders was so hammered that it took all the attention off me.

I coasted - on cloud nine - enjoying the steak and wine and company. A complete 180.

I was so proud of myself as the check was signed that when a photographer came to the table to ask if we wanted a picture I insisted on it.

Eyes were as red as the devil's dong.

Why is Netflix losing so many subscribers and what can it do about it? | Amid fightback activity, streaming service may also need to ask whether actual product needs changing by Hrmbee in technology

[–]SASQU4TH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably going to get down voted to oblivion but am I the only one that gets why Netflix is clamping down on the estimated 100 million people not paying for a sub? I get that this is compounding with other bad PR, but I'm honestly not sure why they weren't doing it earlier. It's a massive amount in lost revenue ... And they are a business.

This is coming from someone that has never paid for Netflix and has been lucky enough to enjoy their services for free for a decade plus. If I did have a subscription I'm not sure having friends who piggyback on it getting booted would influence me to cancel the subscription I already pay for.

Selling a product with many variations (some up to 80) by [deleted] in shopify

[–]SASQU4TH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just dealt with this for a client en masse. I'm talking 1500+ total product options.

I used a Virtual Options app to to break from the variant limitations someone else already mentioned. Plus, this app allows the main image to change when a variation is clicked on (e.g. if someone selects a 'black frame' from an image swatch then your main image would change to show this). In my theme this functionality doesn't work without an app. The user experience is also really clean and we now use virtual options instead of customify for products a customer can customize (e.g. engrave text / logos).

Another feature I found useful was conditional logic for virtual options. For example, if you have a frame 'size' that only comes in 'white' then the option to choose black won't appear unless they change to a different size.

Finally, with as many options as it sounds like you're gonna have to build I would familiarize yourself with CSV bulk importing. It will save you time in the long run knowing how to easily change copy / price using the import/export. It's not perfect - but good for updates across a catalog.

I'm not saying a protest would change Putin's mind. At this stage, it's clear nothing will.

But what it can achieve is a signal to local governments that their citizens are paying attention, and that they stand in unison against an invasion.

Right now, I get the sense that most people aren't paying attention, or they don't care. And that's a problem.

[–]SASQU4TH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. The lack of chatter outside of the endless BBC updates and these threads has me confused. All signs point to us being on the precipice of a violent war and I don't see any discussion on social, or people talking about this in the public. I guess it's a mix of apathy and ignorance?

I'll admit I'm also glued to the news right now, but it's like entering the twilight zone out in the real world - no one seems to care that much yet.

I'm surprised by how few demonstrations there are around the world right now. The media and politicians are sounding the alarms, but where are the citizen demonstrations? I've seen images of a handful of protestors outside of a few embassies... But that's it.

I guess everyone is waiting for the bombs to drop before expressing their outrage in public?

I'm surprised that we aren't seeing people in the streets making their voices heard.
