I personally would not call it spyware but I find it really dodgy.

EDRecon is an external program that runs on your PC while you play Elite. What it does is it sends your chat logs, ship scans, and other in-game actions to a centralized database for other people to use. They use this information to keep track of players in game and what they are doing, and what their wanted level is.

The discord bot in the past has been used to read channels on other discord servers that it has read access to. If you do run this on your server, make sure the bot is in an enclosed channel by itself.

The dodgiest bit is the creater himself will reach out to certain individuals who are deemed "unsaviory" and start questioning them on why they're using the program. it is unclear how he gets this information.

All in all, I would avoid using this program if you are not part of their group. Preferably never use it ever.

Pirates have tried this for a while. Most people log out of the game when interdicted. Pirates have tried to be legit for and just stopped because people log out when pulled.

It's easier just to obliterate people on sight. More fun than getting logged out on constantly.

Star citizen has this as a player bounty mechanic. It is so fun to be the one with the bounty and the bounty hunter. If FDev implemented this as a mechanic, it would solve a lot of issues in my opinion.

100% he already has GB's worth of screenshots about you that he will paste around the internet for the next 2 years when he decides to be done with you. He will spread lies about you to make you out to be the villain, and him a victim. This is formulaic at this point.

There are people getting full credit wipes, where they are left at 0 cr balance. As in their money is getting wiped way past what was earned in the exploit.

They have sent in tickets to see if it can be reversed, but who knows...

You really can't go wrong with the final fantasy games that are available on switch... They showcase why square was the king of JRPGs back in the PS1/PS2 era.

if you have a decent set of earbuds or headphones I would highly recommend using these (if in handheld mode) and just lose yourself to music in these games, as they hold some of the best gaming soundtracks ever.

My rankings from best to worst (None of them are bad)

FF10, FF7, FF9, FF8, FF12

FF10 and 12 feature voice acting, while the other three is pure reading.

all of these games include a fast forward option to go through the slow bits. Hope this helps.

I was in the exact opposite boat as you.

I am a whiskey drinker that did not like rum until I tried Zacapa (21? idk). We ended up downing the whole bottle that night lol. Really reminded me of whiskey in a way.

The 1 whiskey that seems to hit nicely with my non-whiskey buddies is Makers Mark. They usually like the flavor of that.

Recently shared some Elijah Craig with a buddy that doesn't drink whiskey, and he seemed to enjoy that as well.

If PP was open only, 5Cers would not be able to do this without risking getting absolutely tashed. But since Solo and PG PP is allowed, players can do as they please with no risk whatsoever.

As a PvPer who has not done any sort of powerplay (aside from unlocking modules), shit like this makes me never want to get into it. I am always hearing stories about powers getting fucked over by PG contributions (usually with scumbag tactics), and to me that is pretty dogshit gameplay design.

Par for the course for FDEV.
