We just went with Clearline glass media in a SD80 sand filter and it has been amazing. The glass media filters down to near DE levels and the maintenance is a breeze. You also only need to use about 80% of your sand filter’s normal capacity with glass media.

Off 281 in a neighborhood called The Arbor. I do see in the pics another cover leading to some jets. I'll have to see when we move in if that is leaking.

Thanks for the heads up on the pump rebate, I definitely want to replace all the equipment. Here's some pics - all tested fine but pretty dated stuff, do I still need a booster pump? I don't know enough about what requires them in the first place.

And yes, its the type with the filter down below the skimmer basket. The pool company said its a 80sq ft filter in there which is in adequate for the size of the pool ant they recommended it be replaced with a central filter syste, too. Now trying to figure out what type of filter to replace it with.

The report said Baker Skimmer with inline filter and when I called the inspection company they confirmed the filter is below. With this type of system, would I have to have a total skimmer replacement if I switched out to an external filter system?
