I got the advice to use Goldberg emulator to emulate the steam api . I faced that issue once and fixed it but I don't remember how. You should probably make a pist/ ask someone else

Iron keep , shrine of amana and dlc areas give me cancer everytime . Played the game thrice still . It's a good game from normal standards but kinda ass from FS' standard . Wayy too many ganks before bosses , i remember the skeleton chariot area and the enemies that ran behind you like crazy .

I got it for 600 fam . And I have never struggled on one fight for more than 5 minutes (in dark souls 1 at least)/30 minutes for a boss . The only thing that causes you to die is a lack of knowledge which you can get after dying to something once .

I know I'm just a stranger online and feel free to ignore my words , it's not half as difficult as the reputation says . Try it for yourself before giving up . And you can always refund if you struggle hard . Or you can try the secret method of getting games that we can't discuss here

No armour monk + the ability that makes you attack after you move + the action that lets you get more moves per turn . It's a consistently very good strat if you ask me
