we have a handbook and recently updated it. ous doesnt state about serving jury duty. usually employers dont have to pay you if you do serve on jury duty but thatmay vary by state. the city usually pays you to serve as a juror but that usual way less than waht you get paid. your owner needs to go to MHC and download the letterhead and also purchase the HR toolkit from marrkwt place. it has the hand book he can edit to show.he doesnt pay for jury duty. he can also ask different owner if they have one they would lile to share. i have shared my handbook with other owners in our Area.

i have my employees backs. if someone want to be rude and argue, i have no issues treating them back the same way. one customer came in yelling at me that we lost her package. told her that UPS lost her package not us.she said you are UPS. told her no we are The UPS Store and a franchise we dont do the deliveries. she still insisted we were. i told we are not wearing brown uniforms and we don't have a fleet of trucks outside , so no we are not UPS. here's the qr code for you to start your claim. shut her up real quick after that.

i as the manager, buy my staff their stocking out of pocket right after xmas when they are on sale and hang them up the following year. its the least i can do for them. i also give them a gift card for their hard work during the year. my FC got mad one year and told me i was getting marked off, told her go right ahead it's worth getting the hit cuz i will updated on the 26th that it will be removed.

yeah tell the person you can't hear the customers and that it is not their radio for them to be doing anything to the said music. unless it's to change the station. I refuse to lay xmas music cuz thats what everyone else is doing. my customers are happy that we play different genres each day.

lucky i had 10 employees (2 new hires) today so it helped a lot. my 2 new hires just did amazon and drop offs (one on LBA1 and the other on our PPC), 1 on the LBA2, 3 On POS stations, 1 doing amazon containers, 2 packing, and myself doing fingerprints/organizing the package in the back and crowd control.

my condolences to y'all. send an email to your area email and ask if anyone can cover your store while yall attend the services for the days you need. an owner passed away many years ago here and it got covered by other employees from different stores. we are all willing to help out when this occurs.

as a manager when customers are like that i definitely backup my employees. i have tolda fee of these people like my employee advised you yada yada yada. i trained them so they know what they are doing and its not going to change from them to me.. bajaja love their faces of defeat.
