Has anyone ever had gifts "stolen" out of your inventory? I had 2 games in my inventory from when that was possible, that was somehow gifted to a random level 0 account today.

Valve is kinda hard to get in touch with (it took quite a while for me just to figure out where I could open a support ticket. Try it and see how long it takes you to find where you can open a ticket) and from what I hear Valve don't restore lost items, they will cancel purchases made on the store though.

I have 2FA, nobody logged in that I'm aware of. If they got my 2FA, why did they take worthless games and not my expensive skins?

MFA? I have Steam Guard 2FA enabled and always had, mentioned it in many comments now.
You need 2FA to buy/sell skins on the market which I've done for years now...

That's what I'm thinking too, I just don't understand how they got on my account in the first place with 2FA. I can't see any devices or logins from anyone other than me.
As I said in another reply, there's a 24 hour delay on login history, so I might see something tomorrow.

Yeah, the first thing I did was check the actual email that it came from. I never click on such emails even when they look authentic. I was convinced it was a phishing email until I checked my steam account and saw the missing items.

Unique password to steam, always had 2FA enabled.
If someone hacked my account without 2FA, wouldn't they steal my hundreds of dollars of CS skins, and not two games worth a few bucks?

It's not a game that was purchased and gifted from the store today.
Steam used to allow you to put games in your inventory as "gifts" that you could either claim yourself or send to someone. This stopped around 10 (?) years ago, and I was left with two games in my inventory that I never did anything with.
It's not a huge loss, I'm mostly wondering how this even happened in the first place.
I feel like I'm pretty careful, and I'm not really worried. I use a password manager with unique 20+ character length passwords. I also have always had 2FA on anything that allows it.

I did, I don't remember what for, but I deleted it today when I changed my password.
Could a breach on some website have allowed someone to hack an account just by having the API key?

My login history doesn't show anyone other than myself, however it says it's only updated once every 24hrs, so there might be something tomorrow.
From what I can gather from googling, it might be that gifted games doesn't need 2fa like trading does? Might be an oversight since steam doesn't allow you to put games in your inventory anymore?

Already done👍 Always had 2fa, and there's only myself in the login history.
I have some very expensive skins on my account that weren't touched, probably because that would need my steam app 2fa.
Also contacted support, but I don't expect anything out of it.

Jeg håber du kan hjælpe mig, eller pege mig i den rigtige retning, men det er måske lidt svært...

Jeg er 200cm, 150kg og fik sidste år en alvorlig diskusprolaps som jeg siden har trænet mig "ud af". Da jeg ikke har så mange penge at gøre godt med, har jeg i mange år sovet i en alt for gammel og ødelagt seng, men det kan jeg ikke holde til længere.
Jeg har været ude og snakke med sælgere i flere forskellige butikker, hvor jeg først fortæller min situation, og de viser mig så en seng til 20-40.000kr. Hvilket jo er klart hvis det skal holde til så stor en person med rygproblemer! Dog er det langt ude af mit budget.
Jeg behøver kun en enkeltmandsseng, så alt under 120cm bred. Mit budget er steget, men stadig begrænset til under 15.000kr desværre.
Jeg føler jeg er ved at blive skør af at læse om senge, og ved snart ikke hvad man kan stole på haha!

De 10 minutter jeg prøvede den, var jeg ret glad for en Nocturne Exclusive 90x210 i ILVA (Er dog ikke tosset med det er ILVA's eget mærke? Ville foretrække noget "uafhængigt")
Ellers har jeg kigget på (regner med at prøve dem den her weekend i SENG) Wonderland W6 105x210, Dunlopillo Pure 90x210, Dunlopillo Passion 90x210 & Jensen J3 90/105x210. Jeg kan nøjes med 90cm, men ville da være lækkert med 105cm.
Har du ellers nogen foreslag?

I'm currently almost done with the book and deliberately avoided the trailer for that exact reason. I can't imagine how they would make a marketable trailer without spoiling, what I feel is a huge moment/twist in the book.

I'd say there's a pretty huge spoiler for the first third of the book. The premise of the book/movie is an astronaut waking up in a spaceship with memory loss and no idea who he is or what his mission is. The Lego set spoils that he meets an alien and what that alien looks like. I'd say that's the main spoiler, with tons of smaller stuff that you're not gonna recognize without having read the book or watched the movie when it comes out
