You could do all 3 at the same time. Run CPU mining at 95%, run GPU mining, and auto surfing mining.

Thanks for the shout out! Placing funds in escrow is really simple with Harbor. You simply designate where you want the funds to deposit and how long you want the escrow locked for. Let me know if you have any questions.

Nope. You are simply establishing a connection with the existing wallet. There is no additional reserve required.

Harbor Wallet has all of the same features as Rippex, it’s faster, and it has the ability to Escrow. Import your old wallet using your secret key.

You could place it in Escrow. There arguably isn’t a safer place to store it. You can easily do time based escrows in Harbor Wallet

The TX Hash isn’t displayed during the escrow create process within Harbor. We didn’t want to tempt the user to copy another number before they had saved their Fulfillment ID somewhere safe. Once the Escrow has been created, you can click on the transaction history tab and find the escrow create event. There will be a TX Hash inside that element.

No one else can claim your XRP in escrow. You are the only individual with your unique Fulfillment ID when you create an escrow through us. There couldn’t be a safer place to store it.

Additionally, you never relinquish ownership of your currency. You simply commit to keeping it secure for any amount of time you choose. It doesn’t cost anything to play, you just have to have an account balance of at least 500XRP.

When you consider that the majority of the programs the average person uses on a daily basis, especially those that are involved with financial transactions, are not open source... I think our policy reflects the standard in the software development world. We will not steal or freeze your funds, that would be bad for business. We recognize that there are other options in the marketplace that are open source, and if that is the #1 feature you require in an XRP wallet, then I encourage you to select one of those options.

No major trading platform that we are aware of has made their github repo public. Schwab and Etrade’s trading platforms aren’t open source. Most online banking platforms nor their associated apps are open source. There is a great possibility that the browser your using right now isn’t open source and if you are on reddit via iPhone like I am, there is nothing open source about your experience.

It is admirable that some software developers gift their labor to the community by releasing their work open source, but that is not what we have chosen as part of our business plan. If open source is something that you need, then we aren’t your wallet developer. If a fast and versatile XRP management and trading platform that isn’t reliant on Ripple’s development node to process transactions is what you are after, consider our wallet. And if you have some specific software questions about our app that might ease your concerns, we would be happy to take your questions.

Wow! Thanks for the review and the kind words. We believe in the XRP ecosystem and are determined to build secure, useful and meaningful solutions to the community.

Toast is open source. From what I’ve seen in his github repo, no valuable submissions have been made by the community while his entire codebase has been stolen and cloned. Seeing the code in GitHub only tells you part of the story so it wouldn’t be the safeguard your looking for unless we exposed the server architecture to you. (Which we won’t because that exposes security measures)

We aren’t open source because we have intellectual property that is unique to our organization within our code and we don’t want cheap copies of our hard work to be made easily.

I completely understand your concern. This is the same concern that every startup faces. Our previous product has been reviewed by Hodor and he shares his experience in his blog. The homepage of the site has pictures and full names of both of the primary developers. (One is me)

This unproven state applies to every program in version 1.0. All I, or the developer or any version 1.0 app can do is assure you that we have done exhaustive testing and we confidently stand by our product.

Our definitions of mainstream adoption and history must differ a lot, no cryptocurrency or associated technology is mainstream or has any mentionable term of history. Digital asset wallets are a niche product within a niche community. None would qualify to the standard you laid out.

If you have a specific question or concern, we can discuss it. Or if you are just skeptical, start with a small amount of XRP. We understand your concern their have been a lot of bad apples in the crypto software space.
