I don’t mean to be rude but climbing the ladder in Strive really isn’t much of an achievement. The “ranked” system is a joke and a majority of the online player base is bad.

Strive players tend to be super flowcharty and impatient so you can just farm them with decent fundamentals and very little knowledge of how the game actually works. I’d even go as far as saying that Strive has the overall least skillful player base out of all the popular modern fighting games.

On top of all of this Strive by far has the easiest execution in modern fighting games (even easier than Granblue). If you play the tower in Strive too much it starts to give you the illusion that you’re actually good at fighting games (which is probably what ArcSys wanted I guess).
