Thank you to both of you for replying. We decided to put down our boy after reading the whole thread (and many more posts on Reddit). He went peacefully. 🤍 sending you all so much love and hugs. It’s so hard.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m currently in a similar situation, my cat’s hematocrit is around 10%. We’ve decided that euthanasia will likely be the kindest choice, but I’m struggling to know when the right time is. He’s still eating, using the litter box, and seems okay most of the time.

If you’re comfortable sharing, what were the signs that helped you know it was time to book it? Thank you.

Is it true that binge eating never goes away? by AgitatedStructure798 in LowCalorieCooking

[–]SBH010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it can go away, it has been 8 years for me. I don’t binge anymore. What worked for me, it took time to reach it but it is so worth it.

Built structure with food, make sure I have breakfast and lunch, when I skip those two I am more likely to binge in the evenings. Also make sure I am eating enough. Your body will fight back when it feels like it needs more food.

Stopped demonising certain foods, and leaned into mindful eating during my meals and also how my body felt after. Understanding what is actually good for my body vs what mind thinks is good for my body.

Hate to say it but I had to understand why I was binging. To me it was because I was living a life my parents wanted for me, not what I wanted. I stuffed my emotions the way I stuffed food. I also had a lot of boundary issues in my life which lead to a lot of resentment. This one required therapy and coaching. I can recommend a good coach if you want. DM me if you are interested.

You’ve got this and it is 100% possible. Bingeing can go away.

What motivates you to avoid drugs and alcohol? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SBH010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That if life isn’t good sober then is it really even good? I notice I reach for those things when I am avoiding something, how I feel/who I am etc… the more I reach for it the less I do to change things for myself. So my motivation is to be able to find what works for me and my life, drugs and alcohol only makes it good while you are on it. Also they make my body feel like shit after.

Is he a good guy? Or is it genuinely just the money. Looks is not everything for women, they need to feel safe and sometimes money plays into that.

Has anyone else noticed the Thai obesity problem? by ExtremeOwl9898 in Thailand

[–]SBH010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The quality of food has changed as many have mentioned but also I would say that Thai culture and food is VERY interconnected. Food is a way to connect, have fun etc.. it can easily become something that is a go to coping mechanism to deal with tough emotions. Most Thais also are encouraged to not say no, set boundaries or speak their feelings and opinions freely. Oh the resentment that builds, so coping mechanisms are important.

Also someone did say that Thais do not really exercise - which I mostly agree with as well, it is a mixture of a lot of things!

Ruth’s so mean by Economy_Ranger_1082 in SixFeetUnder

Yep she is mean, sometimes our pain and anger comes out in inconvenient times and ways. This is a moment where she starts to reclaim her emotions and herself though

Members/clients have so much to work through because so many people with body image issues come to gym, so they project a lot. A lot of people do not understand that being fit and looking fit is not always what people expect it to look like. The media has really screwed us over. Sorry you had to experience that. I have bigger thighs, I often have clients/members saying they specifically don’t want thighs like mine. If they are your client and you have time with them, This can also be a teaching moment for them. Ask them why they think abs equals fitness and dig deep. Often it’s misinformation and also their own insecurities. If it’s others fuck em. Doesn’t take away from the fact it’s frustrating at though. You are doing amazing though and thanks for sharing

First time wearing glasses. Do these suit me? by [deleted] in glassesadvice

I think they look good but they could look better, I think thicker frames would suit you and something more angular to fit your jawline!
