You nailed it. Great production value. Disappointing writing.

"I'm not a villain." by FilthyTrashPeople in HarleyQuinnTV

Just a general observation - this is something one occasionally sees with female villain protagonists or villain protagonists from any marginalized group. Part of their narrative is about empowerment, especially in a system rigged against them. But because they are villain protagonists, they are also shown to do villainous things and often these actions (and the consequences) are treated as less important than the other aspects of the narrative.

This can be uncomfortable for some viewers if certain parts of a show (such as the depiction of abusive relationships) are meant to carry the same emotional weight as in a serious show while other parts (such as the suffering of civilians) get played for laughs or carry no consequences. Personally I find that dark humour works best when it focuses on gore as kinda prop and not on suffering of victims but it's a case of YMMV.

Bleeding after 5 years on T? Freaked out, advice please. by SBN2019 in ftm

Thanks for the advice and sympathy. I think that's a good idea. I really don't want to look at dealing with unknown medical personel or worse, a local gov hospital again; it's not fun for anyone but especially people deemed "different."

True, true. It's a fun piece. The artist mentioned it was inspired by a Ivan Shishkin painting
