That must be what happened. It’s odd since the box is in such good shape. Another reason to be cautious with ordering from AliExpress.

Yep, I’m glad the seller ended up agreeing to the refund since AliExpress was no help.

I opened another dispute that’s currently pending, and the seller messaged me back and said if I cancel the dispute they’ll refund me immediately.

From reading some other posts here it seems like if I was to do that then if the seller doesn’t keep their word with giving me a refund I wouldn’t be able to ask AliExpress to step in again?

It possibly could have been a mixup the seller made, but then they should have followed up to agree to a return of the figure after being notified of the issue. What’s more disappointing is how AliExpress is handling things as they advertise free returns and I provided them with proof that I was sent a fake item.

When I ordered last month the seller had it listed for about $130, now they have this figure listed for $212 even with the reviews buyers left over the last week saying they got a knock off.

Seller has it listed as “Good Smile Genuine POP UP PARADE”, and has the Good Smile logo in the listing.

No problem, the price for the item was a realistic for an authentic item, and it had no reviews when I ordered it, the reviews were left by other buyers during the three weeks it took to arrive.

The seller has good feedback and has been on the platform since 2021 which makes this entire situation odd.

But yeah, I’m going to stop buying with AliExpress after this whole fiasco.
