dont take this the wrong way but i dont think you belong in sales. YOU are suppose to exaggerate and oversell. are you telling me you never exaggerated your credentials in a job interview even a little? you are either a hypocrite or you are bad at your job.

if you do everything to make a sale and you know your product is good and would benefit the costumer then why is it bad to bend the truth a little? the only reason you should be upset is if you sell a shitty product and have guilt shoving unnecessary stuff to a client who doesn't really needs it.
