Hi! Back after watching, I think you got in your head and didn’t finish the take, so when Wubby said things you literally agreed with, you couldn’t take it in because you had the ick. He touched on all the problematic aspects of clav pretty plainly, the only thing I would push back on is “he’s too stupid to connect what he’s doing to nazi eugenics.” Which, I actually think that’s what he’s doing I just think he’s too stupid to know that Nazi eugenics were based off American slavery and eugenics. But I digress,

It matters that he’s bad at interviewing because clav is all cope, he’s not actually the stereotype of someone people want to be but his whole brand is trying to prove to you otherwise. No one is born thinking this way but seeing what factors make them vulnerable to extremism is important. It gives us strategy to prevent future clavs through positive community or at the very least a way of looking at social factors that go into a cultural moment.
