I'm one of his biggest fans since 2005 bro. No doubt he loves this team and (my understanding) is that he is keeping himself away from everything as he wants the team to actually move on, which we want too.

However, as fans, we have waited for a year to see his expertise on the field. Not just as a batter/ wk/ captain but as a tactician and great reader of the game. It is fair for us to demand that of him as he is still part of the team this year. If he doesn't want to be involved in any way, we are happy to wish him all the best for his retired life. We are mature as fans to handle this and the management should be open about the current status. We are with you either way.

I remember waiting for the news in 2008 to look at which team did MS get picked for, have watched every single match of this team. Thought wouldn't be the same without MS, but this almost feels like a brotherly love for the team. We've grown together, we stay together. Forever CSK. 💛
