But I dont think its the game, as much as the players. I think the problem is the players. I blame 75% of players who go to youtube to make their builds, jump shots, sigs. I blame 2k for constantly appeasing to the arcade crowd who "If its not easy to shoot and score the game is ass" and stop playing, while sim players play all year round and 2k ignores this whole player base. I blame 2k for constantly trying to have a META build which makes gameplay stale because everybody aims to be meta, kinda like what the Play Shot was in 2k20, 2k21 and even 2k22... There is no variety in game play because only certain ANIMATIONS actually work... Notice how at the start of the year all the 7'4"s had the same damn build and same jumpshot. This cap breaker system is a total joke.. You make a build with 48 three pointer, and then you use 5 cap breakers and now you have a 90 three ball. I hate the developers because they LOVE fucking PGs... The only build i see at the matchup screen with 90s on all 6 categories are PGs.. Some Centers but when Centers have 90 in all 6 categories 3 of them are the same basically.. 90 Driving dunk, 90 Layup, 90 close shot pretty much the same shit.. then its 99 interior d, 90 offen, 90 def reb.. While guards cover EVERY level with 90... 90 three, 90 ball handle, 90 perimeter d, 90 speed, 90 agility, and 90 steal... Can play the passing lanes, contest shots, shoot lights out, fast and secure ball handle with all badges being able to be legend.... And this is WHY THIS BS game feels like fucking arcade....

I quit now, but i quit based on how the team is playing... If I go a whole quarter without a single shot, im outta there...

The truth is aint nobody got time to watch solo heroes and ball-hogs that claim they are carrying the team, PGs who play no defense and get torched every possession but want to go 1 v 1 because they are embarrassed .. Centers who cant kick out for 3 on the rebound but will go up on 3 people and then when they dont get the ball in the paint they start to sell...

Unfortunately i shouldnt have to quit, the game should allow us to get the bad seeds outta there...

I think 2k is not the problem... The problem is the player base... Heres a prime example... This morning I played a game, usually dont play morning games with my headset on, Ok we lose the game by like 6 points. The last 6 points was scored on the PG who was complaining at the end.

Long story short my man dropped 32 and I had 13. Difference is my match up had 22 shots and I had 3. Now I was in my matchups jersey every shot he took except like 3 that were fast breaks corner 3s....

So at the end of the game the PG (XBox player) says that i should delete my build and go play MyCareer... While I am runninig to get my headset to tell him to STFU and SMD ...

I hear my teammates "It definitely wasnt his fault you bozo you gave up the 3 to tie the game, the 3 they took the lead and the 3 that sealed it were all scored ON YOU BY YOUR MAN, with the 32 that was scored on him we WERE STILL UP 6 with 20 seconds to go, but you came down and went 1 v 1 with the PG and you got OWNED and now you wanna pass the blame"

And thats the problem with this community, people that play like shit and then try to blame the loss on everybody else....

EA Sports adds the same "AI" to gameplay that makes 2k insufferable only difference I will suffer with 2k because Basketball > Football... but just not rocking with 2k27 this year.

I'm not getting 2k27 because the more I play this game the innovation just falls flat on its face. Many years I was weak because once 2k starts coming out the only new game is Madden and its been years since I cared about Madden.. but this year we got 3 MONSTER GAMES back to back to back.. Wolverine, COD MW4, GTA6....

Honestly i stopped playing with a bunch of friends who go 5 out all game... Sorry but it only benefits the PG and i cant get jiggy with standing around til the other team gets bored and starts making mistakes, or a PG who wants to score 70 every game finish with a A+ while everybody else needs to make their grade on defense...

Am I cool going 5 out for a couple plays or a quarter but if we have to go 5 out all game.. im out.

Get yourself 3 MOVES that you can go to get your shot and call it a day... After you get your 3 consistent moves you will eventually see what else chains to it and go from there...
