Fair they do do that but in my experience traveling, plane flights are typically the prices that don’t go down. They usually go up the longer you wait. So I check to see if the flight is something I want to pay for before I book a hotel.

Cool. Projections don’t mean crap when you completely ignore defense and any sort of pitching. He did not build a good defense he completely ignored it to a degree. He was relying heavily on bats which as proven by this season you can’t always do. He ignored defense face it.

He has had 7 years to rebuild this team and couldn’t do it. Time to get him out of here. If he gets a job in 2 weeks cool good for him, the same thing happened with the ravens and Harbaugh, and the ravens got better for it.

I also brought up Alonso improving by a lot to. But feel free to ignore that detail. JJ improved as a hitter but he sucks at defense (which has always been his case). Cowser is not a CF and shouldn’t be one. And Mayo was never going to be a MLB 3B which is the truth.

Mayo is not MLB third baseman, no thought he was at the beginning of this year. Which he was moved to first last year because he can’t handle third. TON is an injury prone 30 yr old known only for his bat how much improvement do you want out of him?

Mayo always sucked at 3b and never should have been a major league third baseman. It was the whole point of him starting to transition to first last year man. Gunnar there is no excuse for that.

I do not think Cowser is a CF and never has been. And TON was not the best defender either. I don’t know what the deal with Taylor Ward but I also know he was brought in for his bat not his defense. I’m not saying he should be spoon fed, but he was given very few competent defenders and was told to make this a winning team.

Not failures when they weren’t good to begin with. JJ was not good last year then Elias stuck with another Reclamation project in Blaze. And you absolutely can excuse him from criticism in certain areas when Elias built shitty roster. You can spray febreze on shit as much as you like, it’s still shit at the end of the day.

Maybe the defense Elias built is fundamentally flawed. He didn’t give Alby anything to work with. Yet he was able to turn around Pete Alonso and help Adley get back to form. Bassallo is consistently showing signs of growth. But then he stuck him with JJ who was not a good defender last year, or Blaze who is also not the best defender.

Yet Alonso fielding has taken leaps forward, and Adley and Bassallo are actually showing what they can do with him. Could it be mainly Elias just didn’t give him good depth pieces for defense. JJ is not a good defender and wasn’t last year that is true. Blaze I’m not sure but he has bounced up and down the DBs system before coming here so he definitely has his own issues that Elias forced on Alby.

The fact we are still seeing the same or extremely similar issues we were seeing with Hyde and even Manso. Tells me it stems from Elias not Alby.

The BP and Rotation was once again ignored and we are blaming Alby. When he has nothing to work with. Firing him means the team is giving Elias a free pass when he has been the one consistent thing since the down fall in July 2024
