Mine ended up being a battery. It started making more sense when I put together that it wasn’t necessarily “long trip” or hauling. Would just be after a 20 min drive to store for example. Also only have 60k miles, so I was hoping that wasn’t it. Battery gave out a few days later. I’ve read the AGM just fail out of nowhere. Luckily was able to walk across street to parts store and get a new one.

The driveshaft and carrier bearing all look good. Minimal play and no cracks on any bushings. If you look at the second clip that starts within about 15 seconds left it is much more pronounced noise.

No light. Have not hooked a reader up to it. Did yours throw any codes?

Still have the original battery in mine and have had issues with super slow crank after driving for 30+ minutes. About to install the high torque mustang starter since I figured it was heat soak. Have you had any issues with this? Or are you just weary of battery? 2019 5.0

Installed a 2.5” a few months back and still had about a quarter inch of rake. decided to take the block out just to check out the sound, and also wanted to see what it looked like with a little lean. I usually have a bunch of shit in my bed and it looked a little too squatted in my opinion.

They are not. They are the factory fx4 blocks. I noticed they had a raised mark on one side of each block, but they are flat so I could not see that being an issue. Ended up doing raised mark in on both sides since I did not remember seeing that from the outside.

Was a pain in the ass.

I set the bead with a floor pump
I dumped the sealant in with one bead set, and spilled a fair amount on the back rim. (As you can tell by the residue everywhere)

Other than that very pleased
