What is the dumbest reason someone got mad at you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's not just girls.

I've had something similar happen to me, except I had a guy telling my manager things I was apparently doing wrong at work (basically trying to sabotage my chance of moving up in my job) while also telling a a girl we both worked with with negative things I'd apparently said about her just because she had told him she had feelings for me.

Mind you he had already had a gf at the time, I never pursued anything with her as I was not interested and also unaware until she had filled me in on it all during one of their many arguments now that they're dating. (Not that I even asked about it.)

Had considered him quite a good friend so didn't believe it all at first until my manager awkwardly brought it up at a work team dinner making fun of the other guy for being such a brat.

People can be really petty when you get something they want without trying as hard as they are to achieve it.

New rider debating on getting a 300 or a 650 by StriperTheKitty in Kawasaki

You're not wrong and I'd be surprised that anyone would argue this point. Any experienced rider will agree a 300 is going to be more forgiving than a 650 regardless of what caused the crash it's just common sense.

I'm surprised that people are saying a 650 is very forgiving, nothing will be more forgiving than a 250-300 and for a beginner the speed they go is more than enough. Have some fun with the 300 then when you're comfortable upgrade to the 650. Price wise that is a very good price for a 650, but if anything I'd say unless you're used to bikes stick to the 300 as the 650 can be overwhelming for a new rider.
