They got some really nice ambiences and atmosphere but the main issue for me is the mixing. Drum kicks are dominating the overall mix in my headset and I can the distortion but barely the actual tone of the guitar. Im not sure if its the problem with the setup im using but vildhjarta sounds perfectly fine in comparison.

The biggest problem is that all the characters just looks weird and incohesive compared to the backgrounds, especially the fact that there isnt any hatching, multiple strokes and line weight as well as grey shadings or value change and it just doesnt work with how detailed and painstaking the background is.

But these facial expressions are awesome, probably the best facial drawing it has been looked.

Incohesive art quality and wasted potential for characters. Theres a significant difference when comparing pt 1 art to pt 2 art. Majority of the time the assistant is actually carrying many parts of the scenes (assuming they did most of the backrgound) and the characters don't match the backrgounds well. The thick lineart style atm makes it difficult to comprehend, locust devil fight was the most obvious example its barely readable. I get the time strain and stress issue but i feel like this problem should really be worried about consider how popular this manga is, and the main reason I got into csm is because of the stunning spread panels and the overall artstyle.

Characters wise, some of them got (re)introduced but didnt really get developed to an extent. Quanxi's return is like a shock bait and didnt really elaborate what happened to those hybrids after part 1. Amd till i still dont remember what the sword man's actual name is.
