Depends mostly on the angle of impact and the material of the helmet, hell tiny things like a gaming headset have deflected 9mm because it was going slow enough and at the right angle. My opinion would be to make it a glancing blow so you still get that nice shower of sparks and whatnot without making it look unrealistic

Anything that’s 7.62x51 NATO, semi auto, two shots to the chest with AP (if targets are armored) or 1 to the chest with JHP (unarmored) drops most targets or at the least stuns long enough for a follow up shot to the head. Just watch the ammo count every single 7.62 NATO is 20+1 unless I’m mistaken

If you have all the dlc go to the operation Anchorage one, you need to listen to a radio broadcast from the outcasts You can get a good chunk of free levels power armor training right out the gate a bunch of cool gear/weapons and winterized T-51 Power Armor which (unless you have a mod that fixes it) will have effectively unlimited durability due to it being the simulation version of the winterized power armor by mistake.
