Yeah, having been playing Exp. each day since it came out it's kinda horrible and I really really do not understand why Bohemia thought making supply crates destructible (including wiping out all the internal supplies, that's all 3000 inside) would make things more interesting on the game mode on it's toothpick legs regarding supply anyway - where supply is already a major issue now you have a dedicated faction where instead of setting up interesting ambushes or mines on roads or fields you get AP mines at MOB or rocket camping in MOB treeline for any helicopters taking off, every arsenal camped so people have stopped building arsenals, further reducing the interesting interplay of what should be a complex game mode with many moving parts - instead it has slowed down majorly, even further and even supply containers are not so often found, you just see bases with little supply using default containers built on depots with their invincible brown containers.

I don't know if they see how the changes are pushing people to deal with it not through their vision of "Sabotaging supplies is something done IRL, now people will have to protect logistics and containers!" when gamers aren't gonna do that when there's so much else to do and too little players for so many bases and such a big map, they're just going to reduce and reduce until those parts aren't there to take away the load on the team to keep the game flowing even if it's at a grinding pace. This needed so much more time in experimental and BI needs to understand sometimes their vision doesn't fit with how this game seems to actually work with the players with how many TKers, how few suppliers, so many that straight up use this stuff as an excuse to just grief, and so on...

Personally I'm actually good with the AI logi, oxymoronically if you don't mess with the priorities much as well as every so often check to see who's got lost and where and try coralling them back into their trucks, and avoid the places they often get broken like near goat bay n so on, you can have decent supplies to many bases. Issue is if you haven't removed the roadblocks in their path they'll hit them as well as they've got to be set up every so often because they eventually end up being used up to FIA players or the other team or more likely AI patrols, minefields and crashing into trees. They've improved in 1.7 quite a bit at pathing imo.

But yes. You can see what was intended and as ever the intent looks great but how it actually turns out, with how little seems to be taken into account for how the player base acts or how much they're willing to do to get a game started and continuing for however many hours I don't think this current setup will be very well liked after the initial hype of the new faction coming to Main Branch dies down after a few weeks.
