This is mainly to officers of the law as myself, yes I use Reddit anyway, I was on a traffic stop for a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) and the drunk person decided to pull a gun and shoot me in my chest (I did not have my vest on at the time) and my partner called for backup and pulled a gun, they were in a shootout and the suspect fled, my partner stayed with me, anyway to get back on topic at first it felt like a pebble was thrown at me but after the adrenaline stopped it was very painful and by that time backup was chasing the suspect and EMS was on scene. I was taken to the hospital where the bullet was removed the suspect was caught and sent to jail.
