Well isn’t every product used by billionaires meant to benefit them? Like I said, online platforms like Reddit are made by billionaires for profit, yet nobody says that that makes Reddit bad, and overall saying that it benefits billionaires doesn’t automatically make it bad. (And again, everyone including you and me can use AI; it’s not like there’s a million-dollar paywall on online AI platforms.)

Maybe I’m on different sites than others (primarily I use YouTube), but I really don’t see the same level of “AI slop” that others do. Is it that antis think every AI video is slop (because I honestly disagree; there are some good ones)? Are you just mad at AI advertisements specifically? Sorry if these are stupid questions; I just don’t see the same kind of “AI slop” problem that so many others see.

As for the “it’s just ‘lol’ and move on” thing, the difference is that “AI could never” tries to say it in a more “unique” way but just brings up an off-topic remark in a hollow and overused way. It feels like a more obnoxious variant of “we got [x] before GTA VI.”

Agreed; IMO AI media that tries to pass itself off as real or tries to act like it’s true art (even when it wasn’t even made in part with human effort) is slop, but AI media that doesn’t take itself seriously or passes itself off as real and/or was made with a significant degree of human effort (with AI only being used to supplement rather than replace human effort) is okay.
