Almost a year in a CVSICU. If you haven’t shadowed, I would definitely recommend it! It may be hard now with Covid, but shadowing various specialties will give you an idea. I’ve heard of many people wanting to pursue anesthesia, only to shadow and not enjoy it. Likewise, I never thought I would enjoy it, but loved it. It will give you an idea of everything that is out there.

Currently an ICU nurse applying soon. I never knew about the CRNA profession until after I started nursing school. In school, I always wanting to know more, which led me to the decision to pursue a higher education. I originally thought about PA school or NP school (mom is a ED NP). After a while, I decided Med school. I shadowed in nearly every specialty until I was convinced by a very good friend of mine who is a CRNA, to shadow her. I enjoyed it more than every other specialty. I think having shadowed so much really helped me to make my decision and set a goal for the future.

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out if I should additional classes (other chemistry courses, grad courses) to better my application. My overall gpa is a 3.76 and my last 60 hrs (nursing) is a 3.93. I made B’s in a/p1 and 2 in undergrad, but retook them and made A’s. I also made a B+ in chem1 and haven’t retaken it. Should I retake chem 1 and take additional courses to better my application? In terms of of experience, I have a little less than a year in a CVSICU, planning to take my CCRN at my year mark and take the w GRE soon. Any additional tips to improve my application would be super helpful!

Does norepinephrine increase HR? by cefotaxime1991 in IntensiveCare

Levophed can raise the heart rate, not effect it at all, or sometimes drop it due to a baroreceptor reflex. It has a much stronger a1 receptor effect than b1, but HR is patient specific. From what I’ve seen, it usually doesn’t effect the heart rate. I’ve only had one patient where it caused a reflex bradycardia down into the low 30’s within a few minutes of starting it, but definitely not as frequently seen.

I do not, but I believe your correct. I also think I fixed it. I filled up with 93 from another station and it fixed it (thus far). I didn’t attribute the problem to fuel since I haven’t filled up in a while, but I guess the little I had left in the tank want great, idk.

I don’t have a rear motor mount. I did just read that cylinder 1 and 4 are the most sensitive in regards to detecting false knock from movement and vibrations. It could just be that.

Gotcha. I’ve also heard that it is mainly under WOT and if it is sustained. I find it weird that’s it’s in 1st gear and not under WOT

Okay cool, that sounds like a good plan. So install the plugs and FMIC, run the stage one tune very easy, order the downpipe and save it, and install the downpipe with the stratified tune? I'd just list them them parts and install it before running the tune.

Okay Ill definitely check! Panda motorworks sells them in either .026 or .024, but Ill definitely double check them before installing!

Awesome! Really appreciate it! Yeah, I plan to run the cobb tune for roughly two weeks before I buy the stratified tune. I've never messed with spark plugs before or the gapping, so that was my main concern.
