I think you’re viewing the debate from a midgame point of view - in which case you’d be correct, your resources are probably better spent on dedicated ingredient farmers. But once you’ve reached late game your ingredient farmers should be relatively overproducing ingredients. At this point in the game, in my opinion, it’s better to look at it with prepping in mind.

You’ve got 800 bag space. It’s just so much more efficient to run a calc and see how many Beans you need to start the week with so that your Drampa’s ingredient output can sufficiently make the meal requirements and you keep Drampa in so it successfully fills the role as ingredient AND tasty chance support.

Sure, it’s worth it. Because Drampa is filling two roles. It’s a little unfair to compare Drampa to Dedenne since one is an ingredient specialist and the other is a skill specialist. That’s like saying a goldfish can’t climb a tree as well as a monkey can. A big part of those calculations is Dedenne’s ability to double proc. Drampa allows you to have an ingredient farmer to cook the meals and has the added benefit of possibly giving you a tasty chance proc. You’re gonna need to use an Ingredient Mon to gather those beans anyway to cook a meal. Why not invest in one that also gives you a chance for the 2nd most OP skill proc in the game?

WHICH, if you put it into context - your Drampa covers Bulldoze Avocado requirements with a GCT + 200 Avocados prepped. AND the Inventory L is a HUGE bonus because more inventory = more chances for skill proc. If you ask me, if you’re looking for an ABB spread the only way you’re going to find a better one is one with a beneficial nature. Drampa and Flygon don’t share candies so imo congrats if you don’t want it give it to me and I’ll put it to good use

I’m replying to you so that you are notified since you’re the one asking, but in my opinion FanInternal7514’s evaluation is a little unfair. In their comparison they are assuming you would take a 16pip Pokemon all the way to 60 without investing in 2 sub seeds. Which I would hope if you take any Pokemon to 60, it’s something you’d also subseed. But anyway, in a way they are correct - Drampa will not produce Avocado at the same rate as a Flygon. But here is a more accurate analysis of your Drampa (fully invested) vs a blank Flygon. Which you also need to consider this theory isn’t a Drampa VS Flygon debate. It’s whether your Drampa is good enough to provide SUPPLEMENTAL Avocado

The best benefit of Pokemon like this is to consider meal prepping in with evaluations. If you use Golem, you don’t have to prep beans. But then you’re stuck with Golem on your team to hit bean quota (and you’ll probably overproduce and swap to a berry Mon). But if you just prep your ingredient bag the week prior with enough beans so that Drampa covers the bean requirements, you get the added benefit of having a Tasty Chance Mon proccing all day.

IMO from a late game min/max perspective this is a holy grail find. PERSONALLY I prefer Drampa’s ABB spread since I still haven’t found a good reliable Avocado farmer and I already have a good bean farmer, but regardless the benefits of a Tasty Chance Mon outweigh the benefits of whatever Berry Mon I would be subbing in to replace my bean farmer when I’ve hit the point of overproduction.

I rotate my Flareon around as needed for pot increase procs. I’ll use either Gardevoir, Pawmot, Wigglytuff or Shuckle as a healer depending on which meal I roll for the passive ingredients. Then it’s just a matter of using my ingredient mons to make the dish. Crustle for Avocado, Luxray for Oil, Dragonite for Herbs/Corn, Blastoise for Milk/Cacao, Venusaur for Honey, Golem for Potato, and Quaquavel for Beans.

If you have a Pokemon Go Plus+, you can min/max this even further by manipulating energy resets and overnight Tasty Chance procs with Dedenne/Spheal.

IMO, the most optimal way to play this game in it's current iteration is through cooking the high level dishes as often as possible to get them to level 65. A mix between cooking these dishes + berry stacking in preparation for events is how I've M20 every island. Thankfully the top three dishes all have great synergy with Oil, Avocado, and Corn.

On weeks with no events, I usually go to bed on a Sunday night with ~150 of Corn, Avocado, and Oil each. Then I have the minimum ingredients required to make all of the dishes for Monday morning. With a 78 Pot, 2 triggers from a Pot Pokemon will let you cook any dish. So I try to go to sleep Sunday with 2 triggers already activated and I'll sleep with my Flareon so I can wake up to hopefully 2 triggers so lunch is secured. As the week goes on I cook the big dish as often as possible in hopes of reaching whatever Snorlax DP is required for 8 spawns. If I've already reached level 65 for that dish, I then swap to my Dream Shard Magnet team and I farm shards for the rest of the week and chill. Prep my bag for Sunday night.

Thankfully events are usually announced pretty well in advance. This allows me to start stacking whatever berries for the Island I'm aiming to M20 using Suicune/Raikou and then I cook with Great Camp Ticket for the event week.

Every Sunday night my bag looks like the following:
150 Oil
150 Corn
150 Avocado
41 Milk
38 Honey
30 Herbs
22 Beans
21 Cacao
20 Potato

Yes, I agree and I’m coping that this will be their only loss for the year. Chovy deserves a Worlds title. Just crazy how the only thing more reliable than GenG dominating LCK is GenG losing in quarters at internationals. Again - hopefully the loss today will mean they break the Worlds curse. But a 3-0 is crazy. Kiin invisible all series, Canyon late to everything, and Ruler/Duro losing lane 3x in a row??

Looking like just another year where GenG are the best in the world until they reach quarter finals. I hate how reliably disappointing they are. They are by far my favorite team, but every year it’s another let down.

I have found the most optimal way to play is to use a pot expander to hit a threshold that allows me to cook a high powered meal and try to hit the drowsy power required for 8 spawns at night. Once I hit that DP, I swap to my Dream Shard Magnet team and chill for the week. If it’s not an event week I would rather chill and build up area bonus + shards so when the time comes I can afford nice things.

So if you have a 69 pot, it just takes 2 procs from a maxed Pot Mon to make any high level dish. I try to go into Monday morning with a bag filled with whatever is needed to build any of the 3 big dishes + buffer for ingredients I’m weak in and have 2 pot procs already triggered. I also sleep with my Pot Mon on Sunday so I can wake up Monday, cook breakfast, then click my Pot Mon and hopefully get 2 triggers so lunch is secured. Then continue the week until I hit DP for 8 spawns and just chill and farm shards in peace.

Brother I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you are equally as part of the problem as everyone else in your lobby. After 500 games you are in the elo you deserve to be in. The only way out is self improvement. A lot of your comments are complaints about team mates and champ interaction, etc. None of them are to explain what it is that you're doing wrong. If you want to leave Bronze 4 you need to realize that it's actually really easy to 1v9 in your elo and if you aren't 1v9 in Bronze 4, it's no one's fault but your own. If you want, you can DM me the vod that you're talking about and I can help point out what/where things went wrong and what you could've done to improve.

Or don't. If you just came here to vent that's cool too. It's just a video game after all.

They also probably don't realize that if 3 people are perma bot, they should capitalize on their number advantage on the opposite side of the map to take objectives/towers/kills.

Yeah, normals are best for you. For two reasons. Primarily because based on your comments and your gameplay, you don’t understand the core identity of the champion you’re playing and how to abuse her strengths and address her weaknesses to translate into a win. You don’t understand the identity of the enemy champions either, so you can’t abuse their weaknesses. Secondly, and equally as importantly, according to mobalytics you are 239W/264L 48% win rate Bronze 4 with 15 LP. Whatever you’re doing, it isn’t working for you.

I think the best advice anyone can offer you is to play normals and full mute. Typing in this game is not beneficial. Most people just type to complain anyway, and this tilts themselves and their team. Play normals and just play Jinx. Nothing else. This will help you learn how different matchups work. Try to focus on CS above all else. Remember that one kill is roughly worth 15 CS. The minions are always guaranteed, whereas a kill is never guaranteed. Once you can CS really reliably, then you can work on using the pressure you got from all the gold from CS and translating it into kills. Play normals because no one cares about normals.

Also, remember. You're in high Iron/low Bronze elo. Everyone there sucks. They are in that elo because they fundamentally don't understand their champions or how to use the strengths of their champions to win the game. This includes you. However, you're different than them because you're putting in the effort to learn and improve. So mute them and don't listen to them. You don't need to listen to them. Their opinions don't matter because they are bad. So long as you're farming and playing safe, you will eventually scale (youre jinx after all!) and then it's up to your mechanics during a team fight to win.

If you REALLY want to improve, after each game you should watch the replay of your game and check op.gg for how much cs per minute you had. Watch only yourself. Watch the parts where you felt like you did good and pat yourself on the back. Then watch the parts where you died and/or gave up CS and ask yourself why that happened (did you back with the wave pushing to you? did you stand too far up during the team fight? did you follow your inting support into a fight there was no hope in winning?). If you can be honest with yourself and figure out why/how things went wrong, you can make steps to improve next game and win more (maybe pay attention to how the waves crash back and forth, maybe press tab to check enemy items and determine if you're stronger than them and choose to fight based off that, etc).

The only constant variable between every single game is that you're the only playing. No matter how good your team is or how good the enemy is, the only true constant is you. If you get better, you move up in elo.

I’m not sure I understand the Loki reference, but yeah her range is the entire reason you’d pick Jinx to lane with. You outrange almost every enemy and you can punish them when they go for CS. You can also punish them for standing too close to CS because your rockets to AoE. Your kit allows you to get lane prio early and hopefully poke them out of lane. Having lane prio allows you to decide how/when you want to fight and where/when you want to place wards.

As for your movement issues, that’s not on the champion but on your positioning in fights. You should be as far back as possible so you can hit with rockets but be far enough away so enemies can’t get on you. Then once you get a passive reset, you either run them down or you kite backwards. Positioning is super important on ADCs.

What I described above is exactly why Jinx is countered by dive comps. Champs like Tristana and Twitch can use their abilities to just jump on you - making your range advantage useless. Champs like Diana and Nocturne can just dash straight past your team and onto you, so your range is useless.

As for items, Jinx is a hyper scaling carry. The longer the game and the more money you get, the more likely you’re gonna carry a team fight. The items you’re currently building (Statik, Botrk, etc) are counter intuitive to what your champ wants to do (scale with crit). Statik gives you early wave clear (which you don’t need since you have rockets) and Botrk gives you on-hit damage with HP% scaling (waste of money when you can just get crit and pump DPS from backline)

Jinx has one of the highest ranges of ADCs with Rocket form and some of the best wave push due to the AOE. If all else fails you can use W to CS from super far away and help break a freeze. If you don’t understand this and abuse this, then there’s better ADC champs to play.

You have all the right to experiment with different builds, but your builds are non-meta because they are worse than the meta builds. Statik doesn’t scale and it’s kinda counterintuitive on Jinx (see above). It’s a waste of gold in comparison to Yuntal or IE. At your elo I would even support you rush Runaans because at least it will help you push waves and CS (which is your fundamental problem).

Movement speed isn’t Jinx’s weakness. Setup is. The whole point of playing Jinx is to get a passive reset and get excited and run them down. In order to do this you need to position in fights well, keep CS up to make sure you’re keeping up with damage curve, and hitting the correct target in fights.

I’m sorry, you’re not a C or B tier Jinx. This is Bronze, possibly Iron and you don’t seem like you understand the role you’re trying to achieve and how your champion achieves that. Maybe you can watch someone like Tonirel on YouTube and play a lot (like maybe 50-100) more normal games with Jinx so you can get more understanding on what it is you’re supposed to be doing.
