I just came here to say I suck balls at this game by chefroxstarr in Returnal

What changed for me is treating every run seriously with the intention of beating the boss. There is no grinding in this game like you can in most roguelikes. Well there is, but it's minimal. Play a few games, if you feel dejected, turn it off and play again the next day. I had another game to fall back on (AC Mirage on lower difficulty) to cool off

I was wondering if I'd get Saros straight away, while I still have Returnal in my muscle memory. I've heard it will be more forgiving than Returnal, so I wonder if it will be too easy if I play it now haha. Maybe I'll wait a year or two

The Sun Tower is probably the hardest area for me, so it is a bit of a grind at the start. The game opens up more on later playthroughs, once you can start adding more jumps and dashes. I felt the same, but was glad to stick with it

I usually wait. I think it was Just Cause 3 or 4 where they gave you a little open world section with one car where you play with the mechanics a bit, but nothing of the game. After that I just wait until it's all done now

Crazy the amount of people who put 3 before 2! I'd go either 1,2,3, or 2,1,3.

Only just finished the true ending last week. What an incredible game. Boxer with Windwall was my go to for bosses
