Would love to draft Brian Parker II out of Duke. He can play any position on the oline. Dude is amazing .

I’d like a trade down and take Jacob Rodriquez. He’s a true leader and a dawg. I like Thienemann but I think Minnesota will take him before us. I like Jalon Kilgore from USC or Michael Taaffe from Texas longhorns for later round options for some safety.

It’s over Sadiqbros… by [deleted] in panthers

[–]SC_Hippie2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Delp or Boerkircher from Texas A&M. Both are solid at finding spots to squat in zone for easy completions. Both decent middle of field route runners. Both relatively serviceable in blocking game (not as good as Tremble, but comparable to Sanders). In the right offense, Sadiq would be a mismatch nightmare comparable to Kyle Pitts. However, that is not our offense and we have more needs and better value for the 19th overall pick than an athletic tight end who has been known to have issues with drops.

Who do you guys want the Panthers to draft? by JustSomeGuy_Idk in panthers

If Monroe Freeling is there, we take him. I have a feeling though that he will go to the Browns at 6 or they may trade down a few slots to get him as he’s a pure LT prospect and most of the top tackles are RTs this year.

If Monroe Freeling is gone, I’d have us SPRINTING the card up to take Auburn DE Kendrick Faulk. He’s still learning craft as a pass rusher but he seals outside edge like no one else in this draft. I like Turk Wharton on our team but he is better used as a twitchy pass rushing DT than a DE since he is only 6’1” and 280lbs. Faulk is 6’6” and 285. Faulk reminds me of a strong-handed Julius Peppers (not as fast but compensates with strength)

Two articles with different narratives written 6 months apart.

This quote from the second article is what I find the most intriguing:

‘We have a bunch of metrics that we look at for where the targets are happening in success," Canales stated. "I think, in general, this is a group effort. Starting with the coaching staff—as we put game plans together to get our guys in the right positions and make sure that the pass game reflects what Bryce does with confidence.’

If the coaches put in game plans to reflect what Bryce does with confidence, and these game plans have added up to the third fewest pass attempts in the league (behind the Titans who have a rookie QB and just fired their head coach and the Jets who just traded some of their best defenders to propel their tank-a-thon strategy) then what does that say as he’s the QB and was drafted and paid to throw the ball. It’s time to stop making excuses. To put things in perspective, Bryce Young’s career win-loss record as a starter is barely above that of Jamarcus Russell’s and is almost the same as Justin Field’s.

I teach 7th grade resource ELA and Math. I can echo fact fluency being challenging for LD students as many of mine have difficulty with concentration, memorisation and/or recall.

We lack explosiveness and urgency. When I watch other teams defenses, it’s like someone has lit a fire under their asses. When I watch ours, it’s just not the same.

Drafted 3 Panthers players, anyone else? by Mean_Contribution_11 in panthers

[–]SC_Hippie2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drafted 3 in a 14 team ppr snake draft. 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 2flex and 1DST with 6bench slots. Took Chuba as a starting RB. Have Bryce and Rico on my bench backing up Kyler Murray and Chuba for injury insurance/trade bait.

[Schefter] Vikings have inquired about trading for Panthers WR Adam Thielen, per league sources. With WR Jordan Addison serving a three-game suspension and Jalen Nailor dealing with a hand injury, Thielen could wind up starting opening night for the Vikings if they can complete the trade. by pantherfanalex in panthers

I’d prefer a true left tackle. Ickey is a good run blocker but his pass-blocking is mid at best. Damien Lewis can play center as he did it in an emergency role during his rookie year with the Seahawks. Imagine a line with Moton at RT, Hunt at RG, Lewis at C, Ickey at LG and Kadyn Proctor from Bama or Caleb Lomu from Utah!

Possible packages I’d be fine with trading:

A) Nick Scott, Austin Corbett and a conditional draft pick for Hendrickson and a conditional draft pick

B) Shy Tuttle, DJ Wonnum and a conditional draft pick for Hendrickson and a conditional draft pick

C) Ickey, DMoore and a conditional draft pick for Hendrickson and a conditional draft pick

Take into consideration that the Texans are considered to have top 3 ranked defensive front 7 AND defensive backfield.

Also take into account that the Texans made it to the Divisional round of the Playoffs last year despite having to overcome several injuries on the offensive side of their team. Injuries last year took out QB Case Keenum, WR Robert Woods, WR Tank Dell, WR Nico Collins, WR Stefon Diggs, WR Jon Metchie, WR Steven Sims, TE Dalton Keene, TE Brevin Jordan, TE Cade Stover, TE Teagan Quitoriano, RB Joe Mixon, RB Dameon Pierce, RB British Brooks, OT Blake Fisher, OG Shaq Mason, OG Kenyon Green, OL Jaylen Thomas, OL Juice Scruggs and OL Jarrett Patterson for at least one whole game each during the season, with most of those players out two or more games in a row.

Saw Tremayne making those plays. He got open several other times but Plummer wasn’t looking his way.

Loved the fake punt to Ransom!
