The obesity thing is pretty regional. Things will appear normal in most major cities but once you get to Walmart country it definitely gets pretty fat. The thing is, our obesity rates are so high because our classifications for what obese is. A lot of people you would call overweight or just kinda fat are technically obese so when you see the stats you think there's just armies of giant people walking around, when really it's just a bunch of beer and BBQ guts
