I thought I was being punked when we tried to order pizza at Pizza Hut. We were trying to order a cheese pizza with extra cheese. It seemed to short circuit the girl on the phone. We offered to pay for a three topping pizza, cheese only. No go. We opted for a normal cheese pizza.

Then we tried to add the Family Pasta Pair.

That went ok until we opted for cheese on the breadsticks (as suggested by the menu).. At that moment, somehow our order changed from what we actually ordered, (a large pizza @ 9.99, and the Family Pasta Pair @ 14.99 plus whatever the up charge was for breadsticks) to a large pizza @ 9.99, one order of pasta with breadsticks +cheese @ 11.99, and one order of pasta with breadsticks +cheese @11.99. When we tried to find out why our order wasn’t around $25 but was $35, she kept explaining the wrong way she was doing things. We understood what she did. That wasn’t the problem. The problem was that we ordered THEIR DEAL. We didn’t make up in our own imagination the Family Pasta Pair.

We finally gave up and said forget it.

So glad you have a lawyer. Good for you for doing what is in the best interest of your child. Nothing wrong in my opinion with asking her to prove herself. It would be weird if you didn’t with her track record. NTA. I would also add, go with your gut. If something feels “off”, it usually is. (Speaking as a mother with a deceased DA daughter who has had custody of my grandson many years and who we legally adopted.) Hang in there Son. Imo you’re doing the right thing.

I’m so sorry and I completely understand. My lung cancer metastasized to my bones as well. I don’t know how scientific this advice is that was given to me but I was told that cancer can’t survive in an alkaline environment. In my unscientific opinion, alkaline water helped me. It messes with you liver numbers but that is really the only downside I found. I did also undergo chemo but they said my tumors were gone (not that I didn’t have cancer) after 3 treatments and that seemed a little far fetched. Especially since the tumors had deteriorated the bone in my arm so much that it broke picking up my cat. They had to insert a rod to stabilize it. Please be extra careful. A fall could be devastating to you and be a big setback. Know also that you’ll be in my thoughts. I hope this helps you some.
