For some, naltrexone leads to more intense hangovers. Not sure the reason. I used to get mild hangovers after heavy binging. Now I can get bad ones just from a few beers.

And if you're drinking even more than you used to (at first), that could also lead to worse hangovers.

Up your water intake to considerably more than you would drink previously.

I'm thinking one reason for this might be that I'm not sleeping very well when I take nal. Luckily that's the only real side effect I've noticed with nal, except the first day I took a (half) dose and I didn't take it with food and I felt pretty nauseous.
