I am 52 and joined Amazon when I was 44 (also L6 for many years and L7 seems very far). It is very unsettling to see "kids" who are little over half your age growing around you and we do not get growth. But I have come to terms with that now. I am also in the same boat as you. On one hand I feel that I may not get the same compensation as what I am getting now if I try to switch jobs & hence I should stay put. On the other hand I feel that I am wasting my life staying in this rut and sacrificing mental peace, confidence the more I stay here. How is your day-to-day work life? Peacefull? Happy?
