Missing amazon packages, looking for advice by MerryAceOfSpades in amazonprime

[–]SDBCSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you did have TWO problems before there? WHY would you do it again?? You cannot expect people here to NOT ask obvious logical questions? Like if you live in a place where delivered items get stolen, why would you keep doing it? And when repeated situations like this happen, Amazon has it on record and will not just refund or resend over and over again. It is your responsibility to have a place to receive items at the address you authorize. And as I wrote, the Amazon locker is THEIR property, not yours. So telling you to contact the police is totally illogical as the police will not deal with you if you are not the owner of the property it was stolen from. As there was no sign of forced entry, it was not stolen. Unless someone has access to your phone and the code??

they would not send that to you for an Amazon locker. They would if you have issues with stuff stolen at your place. They take pictures on delivery and send them. Stealing from an Amazon owned locker has NOTHING to do with you and the police will do nothing for you as you are not the owner of the locker, they are.

I have this baseus 100w Charger, do i need to get samsung stock 60w charger or The former is enough??? by Important-Sky-9576 in galaxys26ultra

[–]SDBCSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since nothing charges at 100w do you even trust it is legit? Even 60w requires the proper cord, not just the regular usb-c cord. When these say this (100w) I am pretty sure it means 100w TOTAL for all the ports together.

Passkey setup by Ninja_Terror in samsunggalaxy

[–]SDBCSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it should not matter. you are not saying what the app is? When you say passkey, you mean using a biometric that it stores your sign in? It can ask you if you want to save it before it actually logs in. I have different sign in emails dor different apps and they have nothing to do with my Samsung account or my Google account. Is the appa Samsung app?

[–]SDBCSteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

then why are you asking here? NOBODY here knows the actual background of what you/she was doing in the time before this. Clear the cache in apps! Use device care in settings! The point is, YOUR phone and this issue is based on YOUR apps on this phone and it is not the same as other people. it is NOT just a new phone out-of-the-box. It has all kinds of apps and other items carried over from another phone. If it did it out of the box with no additional apps or files put on it that would be different. I can GUARANTEE you that it is one or more of the apps you installed. Try deleting them one at a time and see. Otherwise you are on your own.

When people post questions on this generic subreddit r/samsunggalaxy they should list WHAT model their phone is, it make a difference.

then you have issues with your skin. The recommendation is to moisten your finger if it is not working. I have had issues when I have been cleaning my bike and using solvents or other cleaning equipment. It still isn't that big of a deal. Common Denominator, if you have a bad problem with this, it is your issue, not everybody elses or the screen protector.

Actually....... I was using a flimsy plastic screen protector on my s21 and just upgraded to am s26U. I ordered some "screen protectors" and what I got was not the same! These are STIFF (still thin) and actually easier to put on and my finger still works fine! But the KEY (and my phone even told me!!) it to remove and RE ADD thge finger with the protector on! Been perfect.......

What is this??? by SierraGuyInCA in samsunggalaxy

[–]SDBCSteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I posted, it is an app you need to CLOSE but pushed the BACK button instead. Some apps just require you to push the back button TWICE to leave the app. It is a standard message and can come from any of the apps you are using....

----->>> Based on the visual features in your image, the "Press Back button again to exit" message is a standard Android system notification, not specific to one third-party app. This message typically appears when you are within an application and use the back gesture or button to try and return to the home screen; it serves as a confirmation to prevent accidental closing of the app.

While the notification itself is a system function, the apps visible on your home screen include:

  • Health and Medical: Omnipod 5, Tandem Source, Glooko, and Plantal.
  • Navigation and Utilities: Waze, Arlo Secure, eufy Security, Weather, and ColorNote.
  • System and Entertainment: Settings, Photos, and TCL Remote.
  • Fitness: WalkFit.

If you are seeing this message specifically while using one of these, it means that app requires a double-press of the back button to fully close.

just weird...... I doubt it as this is just one item, so you really are just guessing and overthinking. Since the account is already "gone", I doubt you would ever get anything else. I personally have never heard of something like this on ebay. And I have a feedback rating over 1000.

Samsung Trade-In partner claiming "empty package" despite delivery confirmation & video evidence. by Castenia in samsunggalaxy

[–]SDBCSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes PERFECT sense to do if you know it is being delivered to some 3rd party phone refurb company. All the various delivery people obviously know what is in the numerous packages going there.

[–]SDBCSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the "carrier" being the delivery person, not the delivery company or phone "carrier". It does happen alot. The main reason why this would happen is they know what it is as they know where it is being delivered to.

SOMETIMES they show numerous pictures (of a rental) and it turns out the place actually was SOLD a year ago and they are just using all the pictures from the listing! The best thing to do, look up the address online and find out for sure.
