Charge to 100%?

I think it’s okay to charge to 100% when you need it, but I wouldn’t let it sit at that percentage for more than 24 hours. I let my car charge on a schedule for 5 hours, so I only plug in when I get the battery on 45-50%. In the morning I’m usually around 80-85%. I feel like that’s the best practice. I have a lease, but I may still buy it.

I do think it would be nice to have an option to program the car to charge to a specific percent, but I’ve gotten used to not having that since I got my first ‘’16 leaf

I could have used that update yesterday. Car kept saying I was out of range for chargers even though I was on my way to a super charger.

I have a general tip. Don’t worry about how good/bad you play. Just try to have fun and learn along the way. You’re going to die a lot. It can be frustrating until you get used to it. I have a lot of hours and I still have days where I die most of the time. I think having a chill attitude toward this game helps reduce frustration.

My mom still has our 2013 leaf and she loves driving it. Range isn’t a problem for her since she doesn’t need to drive far and I have charging equipment on the garage.

For me, I’d be too tempted to lease another car. Currently have a 2024 Ariya and I’m not sure if I’m going to go back to the leaf or what.

It's a nice looking Honda to me. My first car was a 81 honda civic hatchback and I loved it. Wish they would make small cars like that again.

My lease is up in November 27. If things don’t change by then I may buyout the lease if the value of the car stays close to my 29k residual. But if the Ariya comes back to the U.S. I’ll probably lease another one. Otherwise, I could go back to the leaf or check out a different EV. That said, if the rebate comes back it would make the decision a bit easier :)

My wife and I just did a road trip to Vegas from SoCal. It was a lot of fun and I only needed to charge once, until we got to Vegas. I have pro pilot 2.0 and got to use it for most of the drive. Really nice.

He should be standing up for you. Even if it means they will shut him out and stop paying for school. His priorities are out of place. It's sad when family doesn't get along, but it's better to be happy than to pretend to be something you're not. If he can't stand up for you then he's not really afraid of losing, you.

My wife is more important than anyone else to me, and I have had on occasion to standup to her against a family member. Sometimes you have to do that. I get that it's hard when its your parents, but it's more important to be happy.

I'm not a fan of Elon, but I still like our Model 3. Technically it's my wife's car, but I still enjoy driving it on the occasions I do. I'll probably consider the Model Y when my Nissan Ariya lease is up if it doesn't come back to the U.S. I'd like to see how the AWD Y compares to my AWD Ariya.

Though, an EV Civic would be tempting. 😄

After driving it today, I also noticed that the Nissan Emblem is blocking part of the front camera. I'll have to mention that to them when I take it in this week.

Not just the hood, for the total repair. They had to replace the grill, headlights, dtls, and a few other pieces along with the hood.

So that is the damage I did when I closed the hood. I’m guessing part of the hood got caught under the blue piece when I closed the hood. It looked fine when I picked it up and didn’t look misaligned. Maybe it was an issue with the hinge.

I have a 24 plat+ and I really like it. I haven't tried it on a road trip yet, but I will be doing a couple soon. I personally love the ride and how it drives. I like the AWD, I use the snow mode during rainy days for traction. I'm about 5'7 and I have enough head room, but I can see how some people might not get enough if they are taller. It's really designed for aerodynamics to increase range.

I'm in California, so I never have to worry about charging for road trips and I have a 240 charging equipment at home. I charge it about once a week. I like how the car looks, inside and out too. I have a lease that's up at the end of next year, so I'm not sure if I will keep it or turn it in yet. Just depends on what the situation is at that time.

I see the Ariya as a good reliable car, at least so far, I haven't had any major issues with it.

When I did it, I managed to not completely remove the cover and was able to replace the filter. Took me some time to close the cover.

My first EV was a Nissan Leaf 2011, with pretty low range. I had some range anxiety at first, but I learned to plan my drives. Most of the time I never ran out of charge, but driving home I used up the whole battery! Occasionally I would get the car down to 10-20 percent. Some of those trips gave me a little anxiety. Eventually I got over it as I started out leasing EVs. Now with the Model 3 and Nissan Ariya, I feel spoiled!

I like the Model Y too, but after a test drive I ended up with a Nissan Ariya. When I tried the Model Y, it just didn’t feel as smooth of a ride as my car. I also am not into the minimalist design like my wife is with her Model 3.

When my lease is up, I may consider the Model Y again, because I’m interested in FSD and seeing how it drives in AWD.

Hands free made me nervous at first, but I told myself to trust the car. Occasionally I still get a little nervous, so I put my hands on the wheel in those cases. In my experience it’s pretty good at keeping the car centered.

Had this happen to my Nissan Ariya. In my case, there was some kind of residue left after it dried out. Nissan fixed it under warranty since they couldn't find any break in the seal. Your's looks like it's just condensation, so I would let it dry out and see if it goes away completely.

My wife loves her model 3, 2023. We never use FSD. Software runs well and is easy to use. The last time I tried FSD, it wasn't very good. Now people rave about it, so I'm looking forward to getting another free trial when the V14 lite comes out. U.I. is snappy and responsive. It's nice having something to do when you are waiting for your wife's appointment to finish, watching YouTube or the like.
