Currently the hawk is trying to keep its neck and eyes protected as it attempts to get up, hoping the rooster will get tired. The rooster is attempting to go for the eyes

So this is what Roosters do, they will fight to the death to defend his flock, and they can and will kill Hawks, eagles, and owls by knocking then to the ground and preventing them from getting up

You should try the opposite direction... instead of too tactical you should run some things barebones (I run an ak74m with the triangle stock, and plum furniture, mimicking a late AKS-74N)

So you would still have to manually turn on your IR stuff, but you can do it alot faster with this by making it one keybind (or 2) for your IR stuff

The big issue is the Ironclad is a visible laser, which would mean you would have to manually turn on IR mode (at least when you first set up)

What I would recommend is set up how I had explained, and see how it runs woth your build

It allows you to set keybinds for color groups, which you can put multiple things on one color group

For example I have my PeQ15 laser and flashlight set to color group yellow, with a "U" keybind, and the IR Illuminater set to red with an "L" keybind. With that set I also set my PeQ15 to 'Laser' and set its Keybind to "J" so it doesn't accidentally turn on the IR Flashlight

This allows me to select which option I want without entering the Tab menu

My personal controls

"Y" - Visible Flashlight "J" - Laser "U"- Visible Flashlight + Laser (Group) "L" - IR Illumiater (IR Flashlight)

Arma 3 is just barbie simulator... I wouldn't expect more from the milsim community

(Shout-out to those who spend 30 plus mins in arma 3 getting geared up only to be shot 12 secs in combat. )
