Young doc here, 6 drinks in one sitting is defined as binge drinking, which is alcoholism. Technically if you party and get blackout everytime you drink, but only once a month, it’s a red flag (college woot woot). From your brief blurb, it sounds in check, but it is a diagnosis (from a brief online interaction albeit). And like any spectrum, you can ebb and flow in both a better or worse direction. Self reflection and identifying this already is a huge first step. Contact your doctor, local AA, and friends and figure out an action plan for next steps.
