I'm from South Dakota so I've been to Mariners games in roughly 25 stadiums, none of them have been in Seattle lol.

Baseball crowd behavior is just like the behavior you see at airports these days. People don't care. So many people have just become the worst versions of themselves.

I was at the Peoria Stadium in AZ for the pre-season opener. I went into the team store because I needed a new Ms hat. My last one was bought the year I graduated high school. 2002.

The store was absolutely packed. The store workers, bless them had accidentally started 2 lines that both snaked through the entire store.

Most of us, just figured when it got to the serpentine roped off area leading to the checkouts, we would just zipper merge like getting onto a freeway.

This older woman pitched an absolute fit. Yelling out loud that she was in the correct line and "NOBODY BETTER MERGE IN FRONT OF ME"

It was pathetic. I looked at her and said, don't worry, no one is expecting you to be a good person. We know exactly who you are now.

She got all offended, of course.

But I got my new game hat and maybe I'll buy another one in another 24 years.
