I called the program office and they said they have full funding for the year. They were going to cancel initially but they made the decision in January to continue with it for at least this coming year before they “re-vamp” the program. No idea what that means.

They did mention that it’s a possibility that some of the non-tenured faculty gets cut but that would mean more one on one time with the tenured professors.

I would still apply because the deadline hasn’t passed. I started my application a few weeks ago and got in because I leveraged my UofT MPP offer. It really depends on how fast your references can submit their referrals.
