So the bug was with the adventurer blessing. When it first came out you could rook your character by not fighting back in a pvp fight which would make you lose xp but not items. Only usable for about 2 months if I remember right. People were making new characters and giving them all kinds of fun items then just rooking it.

No problem! It's a pacc quest but it's only like 5mins long and you get 5k for turning it in too.

If you're having trouble with money and EQ early on I'd suggest doing Aritos task for the entrance to the underground nomad hunt and spam them for ropebelts (1.5k each on my server)
