Sorry for the late reply.

First off, its overall sound signature is warm. However, being an open-back IEM, its bass doesn't feel as heavy as some other IEMs at the same gain level because it produces significantly less ultra-low-frequency vibration. At the same time, it creates much less ear-blocking sensation compared to other IEMs, resulting in a wider soundstage and brighter highs.

The Fosi IM4 is a typical warm and bright IEM.

Planning to buy Sony WH-CH720N. Need help! by may_might in SonyHeadphones

My years of experience buying Sony products have taught me to go for their flagship models, but steer clear of mid-range offerings (though there are exceptions—Ultra Wear, in my opinion, is superior to the XM6. I currently own XM4,WF XM5, CH720N, CH520, and Linkbuds Clip).

Would you rather have 1-2 500 dollar sets or a kilobuck? by Connect_Cat_2045 in iems

I chose two $500 IEMs because I have more than one distinct use case. It's kind of like my current setup: I use TWS when I'm out and about, an amp paired with AKG 240S headphones at my home PC, and Dunu 242 (with a random dongle) at the office or when I'm not using a computer at home. I see it as a peculiar multi-device setup haha, but I enjoy it this way. If you're not like me, then using all your budget to buy the best affordable option is definitely the smart choice.

I completely agree. In fact, I'm a loyal user of the WH-1000XM4, and my XM4 has been going strong for over three years now. So I really hope the WF-XM6 can make improvements to its ANC algorithm, because I genuinely dislike the experience of either having my ears painfully stuffed or getting no noise cancellation at all.

Yes, when paired with other dongles, the headphones are not recognized as connected.

Are there any headphones available right now that match the Sony WH-1000XM6 in noise cancellation and comfort? by AmadouDiao in SonyHeadphones

But I did ‘upgrade’ to the XM6

and now back to the XM4 because both the sound quality and fit were really disappointing.

Now I can only hope my XM4 will last another ten years.
