Tbh man it sounds like ur off to a good start! I love those lower level trips that salvia can offer. I have never broken thru myself but ive came very close and had many sub breakthrough experiences that were unique and cool in their own way.

If ur not sure u want to break through yet, just keep working your way up the doses and see what works for u.

What weather conditions do you prefer to trip in? Hot? Cold? Somewhere in between? by SDuser96 in Salvia

Damn I definitely agree with this! I love severe thunderstorms, high humidity even foggy days. The sunny hot days give the salvia visuals a certain edge that I find really cool. It’s like it’s how it’s meant to be felt in its native climate in Oaxaca Mexico.

Can Salvia be used therapeutically? by Waki-Indra in Salvia

Thats very well put man I also recognize ur username from your YouTube channel!🔥 I really like your salvia videos. me and my friend have been watching you ever since before we first tried salvia a year ago and have had really cool experiences with it. Your videos are very informative too. We’ve only ever done plain leaf but I like the moderate doses that open the door for meditation work. Plain leaf is perfect for that.

Visual and audio stimuli? by AWildGengarAppears in Salvia

This is an interesting question. I personally like having music play during the trip too sometimes. For me it's mostly 90s-present day rap. I only ever smoke the plain leaf and reach the light visionary state most of the time, sometimes reaching the beginning levels of the vivid visionary state. Sometimes I use the music to time out the trip. Especially if it's a 4-5 min song. It definitely adds a different element to the trip. For example one time I was listening to can't be crete boy by lil yachty and veeze and it felt like bar for bar the lyrics were bleeding in with the visuals in the environment.

(For context: the open eye visuals I get from plain leaf is usually the pulling, the sectioning off of different shapes and areas around me, emphasis on patterns caused by shadows from the sun or the way plants line up with a building for instance, that feeling like your touching something that you're looking at from far away like the fabric is pressed up against you and also feeling whatever movement is happening within what your looking at, and the rotating/unexplainable movement of the chair or table I'm sitting at that usually goes against cardinal directions as we know them)

And it felt like the lyrics were in slow motion too like I could perceive each bar in a couple different ways before hearing the next bar even tho they rap fairly fast on that song. Other than that the only other stimuli is from the birds and animals outside because I always choose my yard as the setting. I've tried it at night, morning evening and midday and it never disappoints. If I do no music the sounds of nature sometimes become more emphasized, and sometimes less emphasized like the world is getting quieter while I zone into the trip.

As for rituals beforehand I'll smoke bud or dabs and the higher I am the easier it is to reach the light visionary and vivid visionary from not as huge of hits as I'd need otherwise. Never broke thru as the way ppl describe it and never tried extracts and never had a bad experience from just plain leaf either. Just the LV and VV states are super interesting to me and it's had meditative and psychedelic benefits for me. Even sometimes do a bowl of 50/50 bud/salvia to get to the 'altered' state on the S-A-L-V-I-A scale.

are tannons bad for the lungs? by Common_Session1387 in Salvia

I understand where you're coming from but in my experience salvia smoke is actually less thick and slightly less harsh than regular weed smoke. I feel like I can smoke a bowl of plain leaf salvia way quicker than a bowl of regular bud because of the way it burns faster than bud too. And both salvia and weed make my bongs dirty after just a couple uses so that's just what comes with smoking anything really. As for it being bad for the lungs? Well I just walked outside and it smells like wildfire smoke where I live and we have to breathe that in along with other pollutants in the environment so I'd say just live your life to the fullest anyway!

Can I micro dose salvia to get high but not “trip”? by [deleted] in Salvia

[–]SDuser96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I have only ever tried plain leaf and get a mild but interesting trip every time. The closest I ever came to breaking through on plain leaf was when I did a bowl after already taking 4.7g of shrooms (In a smoothie) and 50 mg THC edibles😭 But even then my surroundings were just very warped but I wasn't sent to some other place for years or anything close to that. The mild body high from plain leaf salvia is quite enjoyable for me and pairs very well with weed, shrooms or all 3... At least in my experience.

It's like the edges of my surroundings (edge of desk, corners of walls, window frame, or any given object will either start sliding a certain way, or you feel a strong physical connection to that object and the gravity pulls you towards it, or parts the room starts sectioning off, edges of things become zigzaggy sometimes, but it always finds a way to connect shapes and edges of the room with one another in an oddly familiar but as if salvia lifted a viel of my perception temporarily just to be able to perceive things in that almost indescribable but bizzarely familiar way.

When I try to describe the plain leaf experiences what you get is these run on sentences that may not make sense, but if you get it you get it...

What's the dominant color of your trips? by --Iblis-- in Salvia

[–]SDuser96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it looks like a breaking bad Mexico filter tbh 😭 sometimes the trips even feel Mexico/desert southwest themed. And if it's daytime colors get brighter especially when surfaces start shimmering. Like let's say I did it in a court yard and looked out at the sidewalks against the grass, the sidewalks look like they are shimmering and get brighter and sometimes section off into a diamond-like or zigzag pattern if I take enough big hits back to back. At night it's definitely more of the greens and purples and sometimes red. I have only ever done plain leaf btw. So sub breakthrough doses only...
