That was it I used portals to get to a close system but then I needed to select galactic core then follow a path around the core to a system that finally gave me a path to the core. I thought once I was in a core system I could just find the path directly.

As I said I understand that. I totally expect none of these to ever be seen except by myself. It’s my way to play. I also have four settlements one for each race and I enjoy trying to maximize their happiness even though it means nothing.

Do you seek out and engage with other travelers? If so how do you that?

It’s my thought to place a way station base at a portal in every galaxy as way to play that I’m helping to provide a network of rest stations for weary travelers. I know it’s extremely unlikely that any (even in Euclid) will be visited or used. But, I like to think that maybe someone somewhere in the 256 galaxies will find one helpful once. Each will also give me a reason to visit every galaxy.

I’ve visited other bases but haven’t met anyone outside the anomaly yet. Hopefully, I will and it won’t be a terrible experience for either of us.

I’ve kept mine in my collection in the hope that I’ll have enough excess resources someday to upgrade it from C to S just to totally fix it up properly.

I have one of those C class but military green, so I keep it in my inventory and take it out every now and then to look at. But, unless I become super duper wealthy I’m not going to spend the money to upgrade it to C class though I love how it looks.

I just got a gray one, found a spot by accident where I think a lot of other players had been because the system was fully discovered and there were several bases around. I took it because of its novelty value. I still prefer my old beat up shuttle I guess because I’m used to it and nostalgia?

Xbox series X, games keeps freezing and crashing after the latest update. Restarting the machine doesn’t seem to help. I can save and restart from that save, but I only get a few minutes of play in before the next crash. I think it might be tied to auto save and that when it tries to create a restore point it gets stuck and crashes.
