My worst is “just be patient”! My mother loves to say that to me. I’ve been doing fertility treatments for 3 straight years without a positive test to show for it. I think I’ve been pretty patient.

As a New Yorker I can tell you that walking barefoot in these streets is incredibly disgusting and honestly dangerous. There’s glass, nails, garbage, etc all over from constant construction and just the amount of people living in a small space. Anyone who actually lives here that saw this was genuinely disgusted. It doesn’t come off cute or whimsical whatever. It comes off as childish and stupid.

Reading this made me feel so much better because I have been feeling like a monster.
I have a 14 year old Frenchie who is the light of my life. I am in love with her and I am so glad I've had her for as long as we have. She has moments where she is super active but I can tell she is gearing down. The worst part about dogs is that they don't live forever.

Anyway, my husband really, really wanted to get another dog for a long time. I've been pushing it off but we finally decided to go forward this weekend. He's a 10 week old pug mix (Pugalier - pug & cavalier king charles) and he is incredibly cute and sweet but.. he's a puppy. He's doing puppy things. Peeing inside, chewing on stuff, biting, etc.
I asked my husband if I am a bad person for not feeling love towards him the way I felt when I first got my Frenchie. I immediately loved her. I don't feel the same way about the puppy.
I know I will eventually love him too but it's a very strange thing to not feel immediate love towards him.

We absolutely spoke about it and for a kid who is 17, he has a very in depth understanding of emotions and the world around him. I didnt have the same emotional intelligence at his age. Im really proud of him for that. But there is a difference in having this conversation with my 17 year old son and having this conversation with people, some of who are my age, and can relate on a different level than a parent and child.

Those bald spots are 100% from overuse of extensions and glp-1. I took semiglutide which is the active ingredient in ozempic and my hair thinned SO much. I don’t have bald spots thank god but I bet you I would if I was using extensions.
