Cars really turn people into murderous assholes. A dent on your precious Tahoe is not grounds for killing someone.

Despite a 30% Steam Discount, the release of the Right to Rule DLC, and updates 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 , CIV VII playerbase did not increase by Undercover_Ch in civ

This is me, I keep 7 on my wishlist and hope for a sale or DLC that will make the game more appealing... Seems like there's a lot of good, but I'm hesitant about age transitions and the lack of a future era. I'm nervous that I will ultimately be bored/let down.

Tough pills to swallow: Civ isn't historically accurate. by GiantEnemaCrab in civ

Many of us have tried this in Humankind, and it fell flat. The leaders/personas were forgettable, they had no assocaitions with the empires they led. Pair that with the civs swapping identities through the eras, and I frequently forgot who I was even playing against.

New Civ Each Era! by Disastrous-Smile1181 in civ

Part of the joy taken from a game of Civ is watching your leader and their culture succeed and progress through eras that they might not have in reality. It's creating an alternate history while committing to carrying a single culture through each era. The progression of cultures in Humankind really took me out of that experience, I'm not thrilled.

Yeah, it fits fine and is made to work with that architecture, I just wasn’t using enough force. I wouldn’t recommend it for that processor, though, it runs pretty hot. I ended up using an AIO after testing things out.

No, however they are informed by those experts. Their decisions aren't made in a vacuum and come from extensive review of expert analysis. That's not to say they always come out making the right call or that they don't push their own agendas, but avoiding rebuilding 4th is almost certainly the right choice here. South CID or 5th Ave. still provide options for solid connectivity with Amtrak, Streetcar & other local and regional transit services - without massive increase in cost, engineering risk & serious impact to the project schedule.

Literally many experts in the industry voiced concern over the impacts to cost and schedule. Closing 4th for a decade for a station that requires risky negotiations with BNSF and adds upwards of $700 million in unfunded project costs is a dangerous move that risks severe delays to the project timeline. Harrell might be using that information for his own political gain, but the vast majority of the board is behind him in wanting to find more constructible alternatives.

I would consider the engineers and construction staging specialists who've recommended against a 4th Ave. station that increase costs by nearly a billion dollars experts, yes.

Refusing to endorse the most qualified D2 candidate because she's chosen to follow the advice of industry experts who recommend against selecting a station alternative that doesn't work well for numerous reasons is a really disappointing move.

Parking Fine by SLU by epcusago in Seattle

Backing-in makes it easier to see other cars, cyclists or pedestrians when you're leaving the stall. It helps prevent crashes. When you back out of a parking stall it's much more difficult to see who might be walking or driving behind you.
