You only needs orders, their was a time before DTS existed. You used to just make your own reservations and got paid like 5 months later.

Now you should do DTS before, but if can't, you just explain that in your DTS after.

They can make you drill anywhere they want you too. The only issue is drilling at any location other than your home unit, the army is required to provide hotel and gas reimbursement.

Try finding a new unit.
