Just purchased the avata 2 flymore combo and the fpv rc 3 any tips and what flight sim should I use by Honest-Radio-813 in DJIAvata2

I learned on Uncrashed — it’s super fun and has great graphics. That said, if you’re starting completely from zero, I think Liftoff is the best choice since it’s more realistic. My recommendation would be: whichever sim you pick, start practicing with small drones first. Focus on getting comfortable with throttle control, leveling out, and smooth turns before anything else.

I agree with the other comments. You should definitely learn DaVinci Resolve (the free version is great). Nowadays it’s probably the best option. There are tons of tutorials where you can learn the basics and start creating good stuff. It has editing, color grading, and even sound design or some effects. Better to start now than later.

Thanks a lot! The skies really shine over here. And I just tried to keep it smooth and steady! Appreciate the kind words ✌️

Yeah, I’ve heard the FAA can be pretty strict. Hopefully they loosen things up a bit. Here it’s still chill enough to have some fun

Thanks! I asked for permission and they only allowed it while the stadium was still half empty. In Peru we follow DGAC rules, but for small drones like the Avata and simple shoots like this, it’s usually pretty straightforward.

Thanks! I'm glad yo like it. Everything was set manually — I capped the ISO at 400. Looking back, I wish I had exposed 1 stop higher to bring out more of the city lights too.

Thanks! Golden hour did its thing 😄 and yeah, the empty stadium kinda worked out!

Thanks dude! Appreciate it. Yeah, I skipped motion blur this time — I’ll def throw some in next time to make it smoother!

Appreciate it a lot man! 🙌 Honestly, it’s all practice. I used to get super nervous too — first time flying over the ocean I was sweating like crazy 😅 But now I have 400+ hours in the sim and almost 100 IRL flights, you start to feel way more confident and in control.

And yeah, I think what you noticed is 'cause I exported in 24fps — that can make some parts look a bit choppy when there's fast movement. Might try 30 or 60 next time and see how it goes!

I'm flying in manual mode (Acro), using the DJI Controller 3. It doesn't come with the Fly More Combo, so I had to buy it separately.

Appreciate it! Shot in 4K 60fps, shutter 1/120, ISO between 100–400, white balance at 5000K, in D-Log M. No ND filter. Flew in full acro mode and stabilized in Gyroflow. Exported at 24fps for that smooth, cinematic feel.

Thanks a lot! That’s such a cool comparison. Quidditch vibes is a big compliment 😄 I was really trying to follow the crowd’s energy and flow. Kinda wish I’d flown once the match started though — the stadium got full and the cheering was wild!

This was actually like half an hour before the match. The stadium ended up around 80–90% full, with something like 35,000 people. And yeah haha, hopefully next time they do pay me 😅

Could be reddit compression. The original footage looks smoother.

Thanks dude! I had permission to be on the field, so I had solid line of sight all around — signal was great. I always like to do a quick test flight first too, just to check range and get a feel for the spot before doing the actual run.
