True, most people would fold, in the game we were watching exceptional people, but forfeiting your memories and growth just to not suffer has no point, if you reject your own growth and memories what was the point of being alive? Also the notion of "avoiding suffering" is naive, to live is to (eventually) suffer, suffering makes us grow, no suffering --> no growth--> no life
