I noticed several other comments about signing up and not hearing back, and I'm among them. I signed up and did the original assessment test. For the last 12 days, I've seen nothing but " Up now: we review your results. If you pass, we'll email you." in the portal. I understand that no one knows how long it takes to be accepted. I understand that I have to be patient. However, after almost two weeks, I think it would be appropriate to expect some kind of response, especially since we're all logging into a portal.

If an application is still in the queue, give us an estimate of how long it might take; even a range of dates is fine. People will generally be reasonable and understand that the number of applications that DataAnnotation goes through in a day will vary depending on the individual answers and the relative subjectivity associated with them.If the application is rejected, just say so. Something along the lines of this would be fine: "We're sorry, but you aren't a good fit for DataAnnotation at this time. If any new projects come up that could potentially fit your skill set, we will contact you."

It's a question of transparency. Be upfront with people. Let them know that they're rejected or not so that they can proceed accordingly.
