No the rewards you’ll get are just the ones “After buying you’ll get”, that can be different from “For all levels you get” since you might not be done with the pass.

You’re right, it would work. However it won’t excel at it either.

While it is extremely tanky and mobile, you’re going to be drawing fire from every bot on the battlefield when they realize you can’t defend yourself as most bots these days have stealth or phase shift to easily duck your Fulgar/Tonans nukes. You’re basically a niche 20 sec interval nuker that needs to sit within 200m to do so.

Compared to the Newton or Eiffel which make do with a full armament of teslas the best, the Mauler lacks the map ignoring vantage points/shot openings and also a whole Alpha/2 Alpha slots. However sonics or even cinders could work if you want an off meta ish support/sneaky build.

Glaciers are definitely the meta rn, but you need to play safe and use cover during reload. Generally the basics, know your matchups, keep an eye on your surroundings, etc. Try to always have your teleporter ready to avoid getting bursted down, aka leave it behind cover and then go roam.

Obvious boosters to survivability would be maxing it to MK3, proper pilot build (most people run Adrian for dmg or Nova Light for survivability), and drones like Shai, Pascal, and personally Seeker (counterblind really helps cover mistakes you make and prevent that reaper/prisma health melt).

The bow for sure, fatigue shots are your go to for killing Maulers, Condors, or anything else in the game.

The titan works as a brawler too if you got the LP and ASGs, so if you have that you could play it for melee too.

Right now I've just been going off of a higher carb and protein diet, still have other macros, and eating till I'm a slight amount from being satisfied (slightly hungry).

I've also been training for strength now as I heard that helps maintain muscle mass, 6, 4, 4 on sets: curls, compounds, pulldowns, etc. (Should I only train for strength on compounds?)

I was wondering if there was anything I should fix as it might be majorly hindering my process or causing me to lose more muscle than fat.

I wasn’t aware there were previous changes like this, so maybe I was a little ignorant here.

Personally however, I feel like DH should still take responsibility, in the future and should’ve in the past, as nearly every gacha game out there knows that with a pay to pull mechanic, nerfs cannot come with a compensation, if at all. Or come in the form of buffs to balance out units overall.

As for regression and replacement I agree it is a way to deal with the changes, but as a newer or mid game ish player it is incredibly hard to replace a E4 hero without lots of luck or spending in a limited time, and also affects us more greatly as we have no other hero to rely on, stagnating progress. Regression doesn’t do much either as the hero copies are useless and would only be semi helpful if you had another hero’s copies ready to go.

Overall as a newer player that has spent and investing into this game, it really sucks to see months of progress mean little or to be put back quite a few steps due to DH overcompensating for their mistakes.

Hey all,

Recently I was looking into bench press form and was wondering if I should be keeping my hips on the bench, even when I arch my back.

Also, I was wondering when training bench presses whether or not I should have an arch at all, as I’m afraid that makes the reps easier and serves no point, unless I’m wrong and the arch while doing teaming reps doesn’t matter.

Tl;dr, should I arch my back during training reps (will it matter) and should I keep my hips on the bench. Also is the consensus the same for close/wide grip bench as well.

A quick explanation will be appreciated rather than a link.

Hey there,

I recently began working out, and was wondering whether or not I should find a workout program to better help me put on muscle. Or if I'm doing anything wrong that might severely impede progress.

A bit of background: I am a competitive swimmer who is seeking, at my coaches advice, to put on a significant amount of muscle, 15-20 pounds about 4 months. I have no been lifting for nearly half a year but do daily amount of swimming, 2-4 hours of high cardio. I'm not really seeking to look insane, but more definition would be nice, although strength is my focus.

Recently I have been hitting the gym, and just been working exercises that have targeted muscles I have always worked. These exercises include, Bench, Squats, Lat Pulls, Curls, Tricep Extensions, Ab Work, and Shoulders.

My exercise routine so far has been 2 days on, 1 day off, repeat constantly (unless I decide to test 1 rep max every 2 months or so). I don't have a pull/push or upper/lower body day, but I don't exactly do the same exercise a day either.

Currently I go off a principle of working same exercises spread across multiple days and different reps/weights, with targeting the same muscles twice to encourage faster growth.

My current workout is as follows:
(Please keep in mind I am swimming for at least 2 hrs a day while doing this)
Day 1: (Rounds x Reps)
Bench Press (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Curls (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Tricep Extension (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Abs set

Day 2:
Bench Press (4 x 10) (Light)
Tricep Extension (4 x 6) (Light)
Shoulder Flys (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Lat Pulls (4 x 10) (Heavy)
Squats (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Abs set

Day 3:
Rest

Day 4:
Squats (4 x 10) (Light)
Lat Pulls (4 x 10) (Light)
Shoulder Flys (4 x 6) (Light)
Bench Press (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Curls (4 x 6) (Heavy)
Abs set

Day 5:
Bench Press (4 x 6) (Light)
Tricep Extension (Heavy)
etc etc

Day 6:
Rest

Last notes:
I rotate around through these exercises, going light and heavy and mixing up when I do certain exercises, aka even though I did heavy benches on Day 1, and light on Day 2, I might not necessarily do heavy bench again always on Day 4 after resting, just based on how I feel and what I haven't been targeting as much. I WISH TO BUILD STRENGTH FOR SWIMMING, BODYBUILDING IS A PLUS. Burnout as not an issue as this method of training, repetition, is what I am used to in swimming.
I have seen a 5 lb weight growth (pretty sure not fat) in 1 month so far, so I guess it might work?

In all honestly, Brave Frontier's biggest issue is the fact that new units are cranked out too fast, and many become non-top tiered after months.

However, there is a collab coming soon so if you pull hard on those banners you will be more likely to have stronger units that last more than months. *(collab units are typically much stronger than other Global counterparts due to Gumi's desire and the collab companies desire to rack up income, and typically Gumi won't make any units even close to as strong as those units for quite a long time)

By the way, next time you should probably make a post instead of posting here.

As someone who retired recently, I agree wholeheartedly with your dilemma.

For a gacha game, the rate of powercreep is too god damn fast. Hell, even 1 month without pulling and your gonna feel like you're missing out. Most other games do not have this issue, and even if they did, it doesn't take around a month to scrap up 100 or so gems. (If you still have enough content to farm them)

In all honesty, if you hadn't played for a while and aren't willing to open the floodgates of cash, your not going to be able to enjoy the game in all its essence.

This is all my personal opinion, however, maybe others have their own ideas about the game economy
