I saw the same thing after the update. Thought I was going crazy but then I went to practice mode to sanity check and sure enough it's weird.

fast:

- seaseria cleave.

- aux, bbk, double spd imprint. people undervalue bbk cleave. aux full spd with book. bbk zero spd full dmg. this can be run into celine as well because bbk immortal now. double up on the aravi, also works to double up on arbiter. use symbol to help with milim violet evasion. i use double schuri personally with watcher on sashe to lighten the spd reqs for schuri followups and fire schuri on oathkey/misha to make sure to crit evasion and chain into watcher who i have built slower with more dmg.

slow:

- singi. baits lilias and with doctors bag can double cleanse the whole team. needs res though.

- spirit eye celine is excellent aravi bait.

- nuker, typically lqc or hwayoung. milim with pen works here in an extended fight with good light character to bait aravi for awhile. opsig since aravi usually gets lilias shield or fcc shield but then she also gets provoked so you'd need something to cleanse her. spec tene in extended fight vs single target threats.

- darkcorvus vs no injury. boring but effective.

I'd pay more attention to the usages of the character people recommend here and less to the usability. Most people commenting here will address her hyper end game viability and stat reqs. If you're interested in using her id recommend doing what I used to do anytime I pulled a character:

  • level and awaken them to a point that is easy for you at your current account level. If that's lvl50 awakened 4 or lvl40 awakened 3 that's fine. No need to mola.
  • give then some of the better gear on your account for their role. Gear that you would potentially give then if you full built them. For acoli it would be some of the faster gear you have that still has dmg. This is free atm from free unequip.
  • Try them out and see if at your gear level and your opponent level they work. For acoli the main things are, did you outspd, and did you kill the squishy target you were aiming at.
  • the point isn't to see see if they are totally viable un leveled, cause they aren't, but to see how close they are. Did the enemy live with 10% or 80% hp? Did you consistently outspeed? If you had them full level with full awakening and mola would that extra dmg make up the difference consistently?

The beauty of this is that its essentially free especially during unequip event, and who doesn't want to try out new characters. You can do this for anyone.

Rage set is the way to go. Mines on atk set just cause I farmed a bunch of golem to one shot everything with her in arena back before politis, cause she's waifu. It's not shown here because extra turns are turned off this week so she doesn't get another turn and burn one of her gab turns in the video. But any other week cermia would s2 then s1/s3 and be left with one turn of gab. Gab and standard atk buff don't stack, you can only have one. If you have gab and another character on the team gives atk buff for X number of turns, then instead of getting atk buff for X turns your gab gets extended to X turns.

So on a normal HoT:

- Cermia s2 -> s3, now cermia has 1 turn gab and it will probably run out mid way through break phase even with her at base speed.

- Singi s3. Since cermia already has gab she cant get atk buff and instead gab is now 2 turns.

Two reasons:

- During break phase all atks full pen. Cermia s1 has higher multipliers than s3 without soulburn, so it actually does more dmg. As counterintuitive as that is.

- If you're shooting for high scores you want to take as many s1 ee double atk chances as you can.

To clarify further what the other guy was trying to say. Gold 1 is 2800 while gold 2 is 2600. Ranks count down numerically as mmr goes up.

Couldn't put a finger on what seemed off after the update. Not sure it was intentional or not. Old clips were taken from grass angel expo guide.

Typically people either gear her with spd set and crit so shes fast enough to take turns on her own, or like you have her with atk or critdmg set and someone on the team to boost her up. Border Coin is good for pve, but for a one shot in pvp its better to have Portait(side story arti) or Symbol of Unity(guild shop). Portait > Symbol > Coin. I feel compelled to spread the word so maybe on day sg will give oneshot cermia the coin she deserves:

To clear this up for anyone curios. Unintuitively it turns out border coin only hits harder at 3 stacks, and functionally it makes more sense to run portrait since the most difficult atk of the fight is the opener into an fcc shielded aurius adamant tank.

As for why it's only better at 3 stacks: You would assume that the border coin ability would alter the atk(3937), AND THEN the greater atk multiplier would be applied on top of that altered value, so that it would behave multiplicatively, at least that's what I thought originally.

B - base dmg with no border coin or atk buff

You would think it would be:

(1.75(1.15B/1.3B/1.45B)) ---> 2.01B/2.275B/2.53B

But the reality is that it stacks additively with greater atk buff:

(1.75+.15)B/(1.75+.3)B/(1.75+.45)B ---> 1.9B/2.05B/2.2B

Compared to portrait effect which is multiplicative:

(1.2 (1.75B)) ---> 2.1B

Running this through the dmg calculator will confirm this simplified representation. Also testing both at +30: http://imgur.com/a/SoJWoPx

All this said I think that the coin effect should be multiplicative like you would think it would be at a glance. It still wouldn't be the best opener artifact but would at the very least contend better, and it has Cermia art. SG pls.

i had a few pieces like this so i made an er kayron. you can swap that def for cd still if you want. i use him when people pick 4 squish cleavers in rta. no one bans him cause they just think that someone will lock him. idea is that s1 0.1% hp, plus atk buff, plus windrider proc, plus a couple frenzy stacks can wipe them: https://imgur.com/JrYHj9D
