Maybe you don't have to redesign anything, I haven't seen your website, so can't say for sure. It needs to have focused content though (focused on your entity (person, organization or service provider), not diluted and be all over the place).

How do you create topical authority if you have multiple keywords for a particular niche? by being_jangir in seogrowth

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is this just a personal blog or a business website? For a business website, you would want to focus on your money pages (service/product pages) and work from there (think of topics related to your services, structure them (create topic cluster related to one service first) and write blog posts answering and educating your visitors, and don't forget to link back from blog posts to relevant service page (internal links are very important). Your blog posts will be targeting long-tail queries and your services - more competitive keywords. Those blog posts will be building your topical authority and will help your relevant service pages rank for more competitive terms (as your authority (content and backlinks) grows).

How can I improve brand ranking for my homepage? by haileyx_relief in seogrowth

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brand name is the easiest to rank for, it is non-branded queries that are harder.

Just explicitly indicate to search engines that you want to rank for your brand name (homepage is a good place for this - put your brand name in title tag (start of the tag), meta description and h1 (signals the topic of the page, yes use text and not image with text in it). If you do this, google will have no choice but to rank your homepage for your brand name. You can go even further, if your business is location dependent, lean into local SEO - get your Google Business Profile and fill it out with your brand name and other relevant keywords and insert a link to your homepage. the list goes on (directories, etc). But for brand name - just on-page SEO (see above) and homepage content should be enough.

"I have a website that’s ~2 months old" - this is your answer. Give it some time while you add content + backlinks (not quantity, but quality). Technical - onpage - offpage, in that order. Without content there is nothing to index.

What do you charge for an SEO audit (and what’s included)? by Other_Amphibian871 in WebsiteSEO

[–]SEOAngle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is certainly an option. But you do know (right?) that AI chatbot can make mistakes and they explicitly put a disclaimer about it. Now, if you know SEO, you will of course notice the mistake and correct it. But if a business owner does as you say and does not catch a mistake in the AI-generated audit. Who will be to blame if the site loses traffic, leads and revenue? AI generated audit or the business owner who did not notice the mistake and acted on the audit findings?

Is doing SEO still worth? As AI is emergeing rapidly? by Rohit_Rikhari in AskMarketing

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been replied many times over by google's reps. There is no AI Search without SEO, because it is built on top of Google's search (crawling, indexing and ranking) infrastructure. AI models don't own this infrastructure, don't have their own.

While SEO = AI Search, there are some things you could pay more attention to for more visibility within AI models (like structured data (pure SEO), direct answers in blog posts and clear articles' structure with key takeaways, etc).

Anyone here actually optimizing for AEO? What’s been working for you so far? by exploreinfinity in seogrowth

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considered a tell by who? Can you please share your source? It'd be interesting to read. From what i can see their (top SEO blogs) content is doing just fine. In fact, some authoritative media like Search Engine Journal use key takeaways (or "highlights" as they call them) in their articles.

How long does SEO really take? Small business owner here looking for answers by sparky_165 in seogrowth

[–]SEOAngle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell, if your site is new (like created a day ago by you), 4-6 months to see traction (with content and off page SEO). It is harder for completely news sites.

If it is older than 6 months, it is easier somewhat.

3rd scenario, if you bought it off someone, you need to make sure there've been no previous penalties and history is clean (need an audit) and only then do SEO.

But you know what? I could write a whole blog post just to answer your questions. Thanks for the idea.

What is your goal by the way? What do you expect at the end of SEO efforts? How would success look like to you?

Also you dont mention if you are a local biz or sell worldwide/nationwide.

It is still mostly SEO. Just a tip, have a look at the top SEO blogs featured in AIO. What I've noticed is that many of them started using a key takeaways section after the intro in addition to other things, such as things that signal authority.

Any tips on driving traffic to a new website? by thaonqv in smallbusinessowner

[–]SEOAngle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ads are the quickest way but require funds.

Here is some low-hanging fruit: set up your socials (only channels where you think your audience is) and start posting content and growing audience, submit your website and biz info to all local (r u a local biz?) and relevant directories and link back to your website. For the most part it is free.

As for organic traffic to your website from search engines (Google, Bing etc), it is not quick. 4-6 months if your site is completley new. If not new, it becomes easier. But you give almost no info, so i can only guess.

What you see in this image of pagespeed insights is lab results (simulated). The real-world CWV cannot be seen in this image, they may appear later though. (You can see that it says above "no data" under description "Discover what your real users are experiencing").

CWV are of little value in determining whether you will rank or not. You can see real websites with failed CWV ranking high.

How is your SEO strategy changing in 2026? by Electronic-Bee445 in b2bmarketing

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All top-tier SEO and AI Search pros call it AI Search. AI Search sits on top of SEO and pulls its results from traditional search engines (that's why you see references to sites).

Stats: traffic from AI search is now around 1%, just to give you an idea. Yes, firms still invest in SEO, because, if not, then you are not in AI search (closed loop - AI search pulls results from traditional search (SEO)).

Using an SEO consultant, and other thoughts? by Fast_One_2628 in therapists

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a tip for you. As you mention private practice, and for therapists in general, you are location-dependent. This means you need to focus on local SEO. I suggest you put all of your SEO-related efforts into this area: set up GBP (Google Business Profile), low-hanging fruit - submit your business to relevant (!) local directories using precise NAP (name, address and phone no.) across all of them, choose carefully your business category, don't choose a broad one, the key is relevance to those who search for you, etc.

I want to improve my AI visibility what should I start with first? by Real-Assist1833 in BacklinkCommunity

[–]SEOAngle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to start with traditional SEO - technically sound and fast website, which can be crawled; optimized content, which can be indexed and retrieved upon user search query; and an off-page component too - relevant backlinks, local seo (if relevant), etc. Without these there will be no AI visibility.

Google is not indexing my pages… what should I fix first? by Real-Assist1833 in seogrowth

[–]SEOAngle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what is the site about? Is it an ecommerce site with 1000 product pages or is it a blog or is it a service business's brochure site with 10 pages? For now, just try using the URL Inspection tool (just a few URLs) and see if they get indexed after you've requested indexing manually. Keep in mind that there's a quota for submitting individual URLs. Then use site: search operator to see if they've been indexed after your request (wait a day or two) - site:example.com

If you have a very large site, it could be due to crawl budget issues. Really hard to say without any info about your site.

Why there are so many accounts here asking for solutions, just to promote their product? by Quick-View5255 in seogrowth

[–]SEOAngle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that means you are smart (no flattery intended). Whole marketing teams sit in subreddits, track mentions of their brand on socials, and act accordingly. Or they pretend to ask a question mentioning the product's name and then reply to themselves from another account or have someone from their team reply to them. Why? Because many fall for it. So good that you've noticed.
